That's not so much a powerband as a fast-forward to the future!
ОтветитьYour tachometer cable needs lube.
ОтветитьThere is NO engine braking.
ОтветитьRiding an H2 on the spa downhill must be terrifying
ОтветитьHe should have driven it more balls to the wall. Not a real 750 kaw maniac after all, most of those guys are dead
ОтветитьIs it true it was dangerous bike?
ОтветитьKawasaki, let the good times roll!
ОтветитьAwesome engine, not such great handling and absent brakes. All and all, a brilliant motorcycle. Quirky.
Ответитьtakes a real rider to master a 2 strokes powerband, not like your linear shit today.
ОтветитьThe H1 Mach III. I had a ‘74 in the mid/late 70s when I was a teen. Darn thing almost killed me. lol. It was fun thou.!
ОтветитьEngine end😢
ОтветитьI remember it well, it was a fast bike. But over 5500 rpm was like existential experience. That is probably what you feel when you're are approaching a neutron star
ОтветитьI had a 1971 Cali 500. I wacked that thread long all the time through the power band. Watching for cops all the while...
ОтветитьHow fast where you going???
"Well, between 100 and 120 Mph and between 10.000 and 12.000 rpm"
😂
The widow maker.
Ответитьyou ride like 15 years old gays first time on motorcycle.
ОтветитьWow! that thing really tachs out!! Major top end!!
Ответитьdude ride it like you own it....id throw some street tires on a kx 500 dirt bike and whoop you around that track
ОтветитьThrottle blipping like a fucking boss... kudos. Nice to see lads that can truly pilot vehicles on the track
ОтветитьI think the speedo cable may have been dry with maybe a bit too much bend in it. The tach on the other hand I dont know whats up with that thing but that would drive me bonkers.
ОтветитьSweet sound of my youth. I rode Kawasaki Triples and it was really amazing what a good sticky set of tires would do for the handling. They were “flexible flyers” however so were many other Bikes back then. I was fortunate to start riding at age 4 and came to understand that on a lot of these Bikes the trick was to blast down the straights and ease through the corners. It’s a shame people allowed Scumbag politicians to deprive us of 2 stroke street Bikes, just when they were really getting good.
ОтветитьLucky bastard.
ОтветитьI tre tipi con i gilet verdi della kawa, anzichè salutare a destra ed a manca, perchè non si scavano ?
Ответитьbruh this bike has some juice in it LOL
ОтветитьHey get in that power band an stay there
ОтветитьI rebuilt it like 5 times I think, and rode it from Modesto CA to Duluth Minnesota lol..... crazy bike
ОтветитьHad a 69 H1 500 loved that bike I was the wheelie king
ОтветитьWe're they having a picnic or what
ОтветитьNever had a H1 or H2. Some of my buddies did though. These machines were something else. However, I did have a three cylinder Suzuki two stroke. It wasn't a slouch either. LOL
ОтветитьEdasss
ОтветитьIt's rumored some bikes were secretly filled with Nitrous in the frame and would only release the gas after 7000 RPMs, this may be one of them 😂👍😂
ОтветитьYou need to keep that rocket right at the power band, maybe 6k RPM so when you come out of the turn you just crack it and you are gone baby!
ОтветитьJust love the the way the explosive power kicks in when she gets on the pipe. Glorious.
ОтветитьAh....the H2 Kawasaki, the old widow maker!!!!!
ОтветитьWere the rest of the riders on a sunday ride ?
ОтветитьWhy so slow?
ОтветитьYes I remember mine ! The acceleration in the powerband on a 3 headed 2 stroke 750 on the street is wicked. Drop into 3rd on the freeway and the throttle will wheelie awAY.
ОтветитьThey were fun but had really flexy frames and moderate brakes even at the standards of the day. They keep everything "puckered up" when you pushed them in the twisties.
ОтветитьThey work better when you turn the handle on the right, as a Kawasaki KH owner all I can say is it must have been running in.
ОтветитьHad a '73. Still wish I had that bike.
ОтветитьThose bike really don't handle in the corners. But straight line they're wicked.
ОтветитьI remember the 750 Kawa's in the early 70's.
I owned a 650 BSA in 1970.
The then new Suzukis,Hondas, and Kawasakis were so much more dependable, faster, and cooler than my old school BSA.
I remember also that the 750 Kawa's sounded awful, but jeez they were fast.
I can't stand the sound of two strokes, and their emissions killed them.
Kawasaki had THE WORST gauges of all brands. Wagging back and forth. Ridiculous!
ОтветитьPity you had to ride around there with all those other wankers...
ОтветитьLmao that thing really rips!
ОтветитьGay driving like 125cc bikes
Ответитьin these big 2 strokes if you establish an early lead the riders following can't see where the track goes
ОтветитьI owned one of these beauties. A 1972. It was a pleasure to ride!
ОтветитьI had a 75 H1 500 Blue with Denco expansion chambers and velocity stacks double disks up front. It was a blast wish I still had it
Ответить
