ОтветитьI was diagnosed with IBS many years ago when I went to the doctor with diarrhea which wouldn't stop with immodium. The doc asked if it could be connected to emotional upset, and told me to eat allbran every morning! It worked! All bran stopped the diarrhea! I had to give up chocolate bars etc but learned to control it with a high fibre diet.

ОтветитьI'm 70 years old! Nothing hat any doctor has prescribed has made my IBS D much better. Neither has modified diet! A simple over the counter tablet - Loperamide Hydrochloride has been a 95% cure for me. Check with your doctor first, but for me it works, IBS D not C!

For me mine is 99% constipation followed by a little release in morning and that's all i van eat more or less whstever i want
I am 72 and was diagnosed at 13. small meals of most things is okay as long as water is your constant liquid. I cannot drink milk or eat much dairy or spivey foods.
ОтветитьMy triggers are tomatoes, eggs, and some medicine. I lost my ability to get an appetite at 15 when I first got severely sick throwing up everyday for months and I sadly have to smoke to eat and just relax my stomach from/after throwing up. I honestly keep gaining trigger foods like recently I started developing stomach issues after tomatoes so I’m convinced the list will continue 😂😭

ОтветитьI always got diarrhea if I ate extra spicy foods, or after drinking milk and coffee. My blood type is O which can't consume dairy and caffeine. At first, I thought I have hemorrhoid or leaky gut after colonoscopy, the doctor don't say anything. But when I asked my friend who work as doctor in Sweden, she always said that's IBS symptoms because she had it too.

ОтветитьOr ill just unalive myself, honestly. Ibs is so awful. You can’t eat whatever you want without having to blow up a bathroom or two, constant pain and suffering It’s like life punishing you for having a good time. Stress makes it worse which make me stressed that my symptoms will get worse! It’s just a circle of torture life out since there’s no cure for it aswell oh… and let’s not forget that ibs is an undiagnosed diagnosis!
whatever you do your stomach is gonna hit you with more hell, and it’s nothing you really talk about. I told my closest friend that I have ibs and she laughed- yeah she fucking laughed. Yeah SO FUN! my life is ruined, i can’t even drink alcohol without blowing a toilet. it’s like god put me on earth for people to humiliate. i’m literally not gonna accept this “lifestyle” diagnosis. it’s not fun, it’s embarrassing and it is basically not a life you want. now idk your ibs but mine is so fucking bad that it’s not even fun anymore. I wake up, feel pain and think hm what should I have for breakfast without looking pregnant, get bad abdominal pain and a explosive diarreha for school!🎁💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
So, in summary, there is no such thing as any food that is good to eat.

Also the so called meds that are suppose to help you
Even most tap water is toxic in some way
Try to gyo food & source water naturally (if possible) & distill it
for me eating less than hunger , quit milk and milk tea and started exercising , no IBS since then

ОтветитьI was diagnosed with diverticulitis throughout my whole colon and internal hemorrhoids, which give me IBS. Well I found a natural cure ! Two hours before bedtime I eat small bowl of bran flakes cereal, then one hour before bedtime I eat 1/2 grapefruit. When I drink morning coffee I pass normal healthy stools. Guaranteed!!!!

ОтветитьI’ve been dealing with IBS-C for 8 months. It’s gotten better, but I’m reminded every time I grab foods that aren’t carnivore. I turn 45yrs old Jan 31, 2025. I might have to go full blown carnivore beginning Feb 1rst, 2025. I don’t see any other way. I stopped eating fiber and it worsened my IBS. I’ve learned that butter would be my best friend (going fiberless). Fuggit. I’m all in. Wish me luck.

ОтветитьI have IBS and vegan food during night worsens it. Non veg food helps a lot. But most importantly stress acts as catalyst. Stress equals to IBS
ОтветитьTriggers: ANY processed food more than 3x a week. (E.g., Taco Bell, chocolate, soda pop, Mc Donald’s, potato chips, etc.) Anything slightly unhealthier than the 20g sugar and my gut explodes. ESPECIALLY before my period, as that is when all symptoms occur. To make it worse, my diet is unhealthiest during that time, triggering me 10x worse !!! only eat vegetables, meat, and flowers
