Thank you for another great rules video! I am waiting for my copy to arrive, and hopefully it will be here before the weekend, as we have two game nights planned. Now, I don't have to read the rules, and that is awesome! Great overview, and it really made me look forward to play the game! Keep it up :D
ОтветитьFinally got my copy and now watched video, can't wait to play this weekend. To use workers or not, hmm, we are all experienced players...
ОтветитьThis video should appear in cephalofair website
ОтветитьI like the "TOP Secret" sheet of paper xD
ОтветитьAmazing how you do the explanation of the rules. Hands down! bravo! Really good speaker
ОтветитьGreat video. Solo rules would be nice too because the rules are unclear to me and the game is far too hard from what I understood.
ОтветитьThanks for the teach Paul. Playing this today. :-)
ОтветитьVeery nice video, really liked it. And I must say the graphic design and art of this game looks beautiful.
ОтветитьThanks, Paul. Just got my game this week and it really helped!
ОтветитьGreat video, Paul!
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Impressive production value and great teaching style. Well done!
ОтветитьAny chance you’ll do another video covering the solo rules? This one was great!
ОтветитьHonestly, I wish the "trickle down" scoring had been described as "you get points, plus anything you depend on gets its points". This is far more intuitive than the "you earn 4, and then pay out 2". You can sort of follow this by just using the "+2" indicator instead. The only time it gets a bit confusing is with neutral resources, since they use up 1 extra point.
ОтветитьThis really needs to be captioned properly for accessibility reasons
ОтветитьFantastic explanation yet again, thanks Paul. Found the rules for this one almost unreadable, this cleared things up immediately. :)
ОтветитьAwesome video Paul!
ОтветитьWow. This is a very very good video. You explain it in such a clear way and the video sequences are so helpful to understand how everything works. Thx for this!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this Paul !
ОтветитьSo if I play an adviser (discard) and in my next turn play call to vote fires the adviser come back too my hand as well? Or are advisers one time only?
ОтветитьAre you allowed to view your opponent's discard pile?
ОтветитьThanks Paul, very helpful.
ОтветитьThanks for doing this monster of a “How to Play”. I don’t think my friend and I would have been able to play it correctly without this. The rulebook isn’t a mess but it’s got some glaring faults. Paul for 2020.
ОтветитьThis is the most convoluted game I've ever seen. Maybe I need to stick with Parchese.
ОтветитьGood instruction manual!!! F'ing outstanding
ОтветитьThis was an exquisitely constructed how-to-play! I absolutely love how to shifted from the simple to complex rules - and from the common to the exotic - so seamlessly; not letting yourself be bound to the sequence of play if it would confuse your audience. Brilliant!
ОтветитьThose eyebrows though!
ОтветитьThis is a really difficult game to understand from the rulebook alone (which I think is nearly unclear), but this video does seem to help while having multiple go's at the game and returning here for further clarification. Not an easy game to learn at all
ОтветитьPrestige building placement: is it same shape and colour; or same shape or colour that makes it illegal?
Ответить"What can I say, people like living near trees." Very clear, well crafted, and helpful video.
ОтветитьSo, with the prestige building at the end that connects to a neutral player; why would two be lost to the neutral player? 4 points gained with one being lost to the neutral from the pay out would leave three to blue, wouldn't it?
ОтветитьThis video is amazing. I was so scared by the weight of this game on bgg. The way you explain it made it so easy to understand. Really good job!
ОтветитьThis video was the only reason we were even able to start our game. Thank you very much. Liked and subscribed to express my gratitude.
ОтветитьMan this video rocks! I was doing so many things wrong that were cleared thanks!!
ОтветитьDuring level three building explantion: Say yellow built this here...
Me: Why would you EVER do that?!
End of level 3 building explanation: ...so that probably wasn't a very good idea...
Me: ...my...heart...😵😵😵
Love this game! A must buy
ОтветитьDo all players get their cards back when "call to vote" card is played or just the player who played the card
ОтветитьExcellent video! I looked at several how-to-play videos for this game and this is certainly the best one.
ОтветитьQuick clarification; remind me how you can buy into advanced resource buildings.
ОтветитьAmazed that Founders of Gloomhaven is Paul's 7th most played video on his channel. Nothing wrong with the game or Pauls video but Just surprised it's 7th. Maybe it's because it has Gloomhaven in the title✌
ОтветитьHi, great instruction :) but I have a question when I buy access to a good on one tile in one distribution, do I always have access to this resource, no matter where the next one is set, or do I have to buy access to another tile of the same good?
Ответить22 minutes in, I couldn't help but belt out some Tenasious D lyrics.
"Blue does not OWN the Metal!! The metal was owned by Greeeeen!"
Top right hand corner: "secret Gloomhaven expansion"
probably just Forogtten Circles
Wonderful explanation!
After reading the rulebook and watching other video explanations I was still left slightly overwhelmed, but you managed to teach this expertly!
Liked, subscribed, shared, printed out the thumbnail and framed it above the Kallax, cheers!
Some questions,
1. What if tier 3 advance building connect to more than 1 tier 2 building from different owner, does the rule apply is same as the prestige building being delivered a resource from different owner, so the one who make the connections decide which building get points?
2. How do you know the cost of get access from a resource (2/3/4 gold) without pulling up the token from the board to see what terrain underneath them? Because most of the time when we play this game, its quite annoying to do that so often, sometimes accidently mess the lay out, move the tile around, etc because we need to calculate the cost so often, any idea to solve this problem?
perfect review
ОтветитьAmazing vid
ОтветитьHad to see if someone had done a video of this game and was lucky to find your video! God job and thanks for some very good explanations! You didn't explain the income card though ...
ОтветитьThank you for this video! My partner and I set it up for the first time and could not get our heads around the rulebook at all, you made it all so clear and simple!
