I’ve been a Pirates fan since I was 6 and now I’m 76 so 70 years . I wish I had the vocabulary to express how much disgust I have for the Pirate organization. Paul Skenes is now 4 and 6. He pitches 8 innings and has the misfortune of giving up a home run and now another loss. Does the ownership have any pride in the quality of players and their ability to produce any offense? Paul is not long for Pittsburgh and who can blame him.

The Pirates have the same problem as they've had consistently since 1993, you cannot expect good results when you start 4 to 8 rookies a season. Buy some decent, well-known, and well proven players and stop mix matching the lineups, i.e., unless it's a day off once and a great while, buy or trade for some really good players leave your main guys in and stick to it.

What a waste of an absolute gem. I bet Skenes could throw a complete perfect game, but once they got into extras and his pitch count got too high the bullpen would give up some runs the second Skenes left the game. And they would lose that game too. This offense is absolutely PATHETIC!!!
