I mean, intel has basically been leading the CPU market for about 10-15 years .....and after googling, it's been leading constantly since 2004 (farthest back I could find) and only on desktop does AMD pass them, only twice in about 21 years, and not by much. So yeah, Intel can definitely afford to drop their price and give us good performance, especially with Nvidia always pumping up the prices each generation for seemingly no reason other than "chip shortage" for about the 10th year in a row.

After a few more generations of GPU's, Intel might be a real competitor on the GPU market, especially if they can keep their price low and largely increase performance and power efficiency each gen.

Might even force Nvidia and AMD to drop their prices a bit, because it'll no longer be a duopoly and Intel will be a real challenger in the GPU market.
