I rool from my back to my side all night .What should I do in that case?.
ОтветитьI can't sleep on my back because when I do frequent night terrors happen.
ОтветитьOmg life changed in an instant, feel like such a fool for not doing this earlier
ОтветитьBoth my shoulders hurt, I'm a side sleeper and when I wake up they are numb, one of them stayed numb all day today.
Ответить1400 years ago
Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) mentioned the way to sleep. None of His teaching is proved wrong yet. However science is acknowledging.
These 1400 year ago life style to eat , sleep, drink, is ever so appreciated.

I'm going to try the first suggestion (making a canal between two pillows for my left arm)! I'm hot all the time, so putting pillows above the mattress will soon wake me. But here's a crazy thing that might help someone: (Remember, the pain is in my left shoulder.) I place a 5LB wight wrapped in a towel in the bed (if I am on my back, it's a few inches from my right upper arm). When I turn onto my right side, I place my left hand on the end of the weight (towel wrapping it) closest to the headboard. And I place my right arm below it in a relaxed position. That helps prevent my shoulder from rotating too far forward. But it also prevents me from cuddling with my beautiful, wonderful wife.
ОтветитьMy advice is never sleep on the right side specially if you have acid reflux , you will start coughing right away . Also you can wake up with a stroke … sleeping on your stomach is not ideal either so sleep on your back or your left side is better for your health specially with a pillow between your legs .
ОтветитьI sleep on my elbow, sometimes right sometimes left and I guess it's super unhealthy because shoulder takes the weight
ОтветитьHave to wait for drs appt that’s in a week. I did go to ER because I was in agony with comfort o my if I put my arm over my head.. they think pinched nerve and a knot top of shoulder.. shooting pain down my arm. I’ve been trying to sleep on my back even with pillow support and it still hurts so badly so I’m not sleeping well or I roll onto sore shoulder and wake up in agony too. End up throwing my arm over my head gritting my teeth from the pain..in most positions.
Just experimented with the side canal and I’m hopeful. Just wanted to thank you guys for what you do and always making me smile.
What are the three sleeping positions to avoid, to relieve shoulder pain caused by pinched nerve? Please demonstrate.
ОтветитьI cant help how i sleep. Unfortunately i wont fall asleep on my back as i havw trouble breathing
ОтветитьC
Going to try some of these techniques tonight.
Good advice but listening to the long winded description makes it boring.Better to got right into the subject in point form. Be short and brief.
ОтветитьThe word is "lie" on your side, not "lay" on your side.
ОтветитьIm convinced sleeping position contributes to posture. I've had to deal with back discomfort till I switched to putting all that weight on my back. You can practically feel your back straighten.
ОтветитьEvery channels telling different thing.. just sleep whatever you want. Period.
ОтветитьThe Ad for Lume is a great product! I want to order ❤ I love that you promote health
ОтветитьHaving a pillow under ribs while laying on side is very uncomfortable to me. Please don’t take God’s name in vain.
ОтветитьSleeping on my back gives me crazy dreams to nightmares, ngl
ОтветитьI am a side sleeper too . I adopted this kind of position because of my mom . She told me not sleep straight like a dead . That's why until now i do same & i always feel a neck & shoulder pain .
ОтветитьSide sleeper here. I'd never fall asleep any other way. Then again? I was a stomach sleeper my entire life til I got pregnant at 23. I had an extremely difficult time switching to my side as well. Took me months to get used to side sleeping too. I have horrible shoulder pain. Barely treatable. Never say never though, right? I'll give this a shot. Entirely desperate at this point.
Ответить❤❤❤✌✌✌
ОтветитьThe real problem to solve is that “where the head goes, the body follows”. So, you fall asleep on your back then your head flops to the side and your body natural turns on its side to follow. If you can keep the head from flopping, you are more likely to be able to stay sleeping on your side. Do you agree? This is just my experience, anyway.
ОтветитьWhat can you both know about Arteriatis (??) temporal. Can you talk about this? Please
ОтветитьGod help!
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on mattress toppers? Mine is thick, but very soft.
Ответитьmaybe pajamas with builtin pillows would be easier !
ОтветитьThanks Bob and Brad
For improving my sleep 👍
Turn the pillow vertically
ОтветитьNo wonder there's so many pillows on the hotel beds 😂
ОтветитьI tried this last night and woke up with zero shoulder pain. Thank you so much for this video!!
ОтветитьMy shoulders have been messed up for YEARS. As a side sleeper it's a huge issue. When it gets super bad I force myself to sleep in one of those 'C' shaped pregnancy pillows that go down each side of your body under your arms. It's horribly uncomfortable for me, but it keeps me on my back, and keeps my arms by my side and supported. Usually a month or two is all that's required to keep me in the habit of back sleeping for awhile. The other thing I do during that time is put a pillow or two (stacked) UNDER the bed sheet so they aren't easy to move out of the way, just below (on the calf side) of my knees. This elevates my legs, which is good for you anyway...and keeps me off my side. In conjunction with the pregnancy pillow, it gives my shoulders time to heal, and again...reinforces a habit that lasts awhile.

ОтветитьJust this morning I started feeling shoulder pain and this video popped up in my feed...😮😮😮 I'm kind of surprised..😅 thanks for the video..
ОтветитьSo I need like 6 pillows 😂
ОтветитьThis was a very important video for me to watch. Thank you.
ОтветитьI have seen most of your videos. You ppl just drag video a lot. You guys not talking to the point. Whole video you guys keep talking unnecessary things. I still couldn't understand which 3 positions are wrong and which is right? Pls don't mind. Just suggest which is right way to sleep . Ty
ОтветитьI was recently thinking that I need some new pillows, so of course this 3 year old video of yours came up.. wow Bob, wow Brad, you guys are reading my mind again 😏

ОтветитьThese 2 men are a blessing to most of us who have pain here and there. God bless them.
ОтветитьWhen I sleep on the sore shoulder, somehow twisting my sore arm under a pillow seems to bring releif - wonder why?
ОтветитьBravo
ОтветитьThank you both! My shoulder has been killing me.
ОтветитьBeen having pain in my right shoulder for 3months now so will definitely give these methods a shot.
I play golf which doesn't bother my shoulder but any kind of lifting or pressure really irritates it.
