Originally Guarma was supposed to be a lot bigger and open. It would have been cool to get an alternate ending if you donated around 20k and the gang just moves to there with a little farm. The problem is that everyone would do that and never finish the game properly lol

at the time that this game takes place, (1899) inflation was nonexistent. so 10 million dollars would be a MASSIVE fortune compared to today's value of 10 million. and despite the absolutely impossible fortune arthur donated, dutch didn't really care a whole lot.
