Hi.I have PS one SCPH-102 i do everything like in vidio . 7.13min in vidio my ps one does not boot from left to right like vidio,it only goes into the memory card and that's it😪☹what is the problem ??????

*update i just had to move the ps1 memory card to slot 2 and then it worked great. Thanks Blaine! Now i can play my inport games and not hard mod the ps1 😅

@BlaineLocklair i followed your steps and click on memory card ps1 just black card picture and nothing happen no green scrolling bar across screen. Do i need to buy a new memory card? And try over? Not sure

There's a PS1 mod I saw on Odd Tinkering's channel that uses an SD card and a PSIO that connects to the IO port of the console. I think it's the early model PS1 (SCPH-1001) as those had the IO port. Of course you have to solder in a mod chip for it to work

Nice but too many steps rather use a gold finger or boot disk if it does not work it does not work nice video though.

Buying the Free McBoot card listed in the description eliminates the need for the ps2 in this video, correct?

PLEASE BEFORE DOING THIS CHECK IF YOUR PS2 IS COMPATIBLE WITH FREEMCBOOT, any slim model that has a 9000x Internal power supply (the double barrel type ports) are not compatible!!! and according to the amazon page of the freemcboot memory card he linked the 30001 isn't compatible either!!!!

I know you say to devote this to one card, but how much space does this take? Is there Atleast a block leftover?

tonyhacks has better game support & both have removeless slot2 files now. I just got mine working. Id like a premium fast load OEM style memorycard without button. add a RGB HDMI adapter & PS1 can really do alot. mechapwn has some risk & still requires disks. if you have PS1 FreePSXboot is game changer especially with slot2 method

That HDMi cable you have in you're links is a rippoff it's just a Rebranded WII to HDmi or Generic AV to HDMI converter they just soldered a Ps2 Plug to it the image quality is HORRENDOUS

it works but i dont konw why when i Turner on my ps1 next Day without any memory card with originql game ps1 didnt run game and laser is makeing stronie noises and now its not reading any disc. Please help me gow to fix it
