My last name is Croft. When I was a kid after the movie came out with Angelina Jolene in it, I told people it was based of experiences my aunt had, that she was the real Laura Croft. Lot of kids had their minds blown until I told them I was kidding. Lol

genuine question, do you actually think "3 body problem" was good? or was that a bit. because like...... i mean. sure. its pretty funny. like. cutting a ship in half with a microfilament (which literally wouldn't work anyways because the whole point of nano fibers is that they are strong when BUNDLED not alone) a plan so amazing, that it could have been foiled by a single person bending down to tie their shoe.

or like, how about half the second book being about the protag creating a fucking tulpa then using the endless funds of the UN to kidnap a woman and force her to marry him. all of which have ZERO relevance to the story and is mentioned like, ONE time past that point.

or how about.. how every single "real scientific concept" in this story is just the author reading the first sentence on wikipedia and slapping it into the book with zero understanding of how it works. "gravitational waves" you say?? ohh. thats... just like radio!!! it says so right here, on the wikipedia page. wow. what a "smart" way to have humanity contact aliens. (do not even remotely work in that way what so ever, also one lone woman contacting aliens by herself without anyone else on earth knowing is. hilarious. even when they try to explain it away.) actually i could go on for months. they are straight up some of the comedically worst books ever written, and i genuinely question the mental stability of the author.

OH almost forgot the part in book 3 where it is HEAVILY implied a scientist in a space colony, who is A NOTED INCEL. falls in love with, THEN HAS SEX WITH. a black hole. which again, has ZERO relevance to the plot. and is just..... there.... because..... the author has brain problems??????

So she's doing all this climbing and sliding after being impaled with rebar? I understand it was in the side just above the hip but it's still pretty serious, that's not even counting multiple head traumas and a bear trap. I think the rest of this game is a delusion from shock.

They should make a game from the perspective of the natives. A town builder where you are trying to set a small civilization with survivors while enduring periodical attacks from Lara Croft.

One thing i absolutely loath about the new Tomb Raider games is the fact that the enemies set up ambushed in the most ridiculous places specifically for Lara. There will be a 1 meter wide cliff on the side of the mountain and the enemy boss will be like "yeah, Lara is totally going to be there some day, look at the white paint, we should totally set up an ambush there".

After killing like 20 people I realised that these dudes are just trying to get out of the cursed island to see their families and pets again. I mean it wasn't like they were fanatic over nothing, the sun god shit was real.

Then I feel bad about massacring the rest of em in so many awesome and fun ways.

I like how near the beginning of the game Lara is struggling with the ethics of killing a deer for food and within half an hour she's killing squads of men like she's trying unlock the Nuke killstreak in CoD.

It looks like so far you have had 60 minutes of cut scenes and five minutes of play. There used to be a minimum amount of cut scene to maximum gameplay for most games. It's sad that has changed, I have always felt that video games should be gameplay first but this has changed over the.
