Ardbeg 10 .. yeah, 2 oz's is ah years supply for me. Jus kiddin'. Acquired taste I like in winter time here in Florida. Mostly mid December through mid February. Cold night by tha fire. Would drink more of it were I up north I'am sure. Can't beat tha peat! Well I do, but that's another story entirely. Sure ya don't want to hear it. Do ya??
ОтветитьIt would have been incredibly helpful if you had written out the names of the whiskies somewhere. My phone can not resolve the labels, and you never showed close-up images of them.
Ответитьgem of a video right here. peace from the Caribbean.
ОтветитьAt this point the video is about a year old and every one of these bottles are 20 to 30 dollars more than what he quotes lol.... I guess it is a the "New Big Thing"
ОтветитьGlenmorangie is my fave daily drinker and Caol Ila is a really overlooked Islay whisky.
ОтветитьI just picked up a bottle of Bunnahabhain, and love it! Great recommendation sir.
ОтветитьI can get 4 out of the 5 at my LCBO store in Ontario, Canada. My liquor store is reletively small so I'd have to order them online and have them delivered to the store but they are available (all but the Arron scotch whisky)
ОтветитьI think the glendronach 12 deserves a spot up here
ОтветитьHow about a slightly more expensive list of scotches?
ОтветитьGreat suggestions, greatly appreciated, thanks. Cheers.
ОтветитьI wish you had a partnership with a online company that way you could put links in the description below.
ОтветитьI paid $75 for Ardbeg 10 the other day. The struggle is real.
ОтветитьWhat is the most you would pay for a great Single Malt Scotch?
ОтветитьInfo on the aaron release??
ОтветитьAt this point, I think it’s obligatory that any list of “best” or “favorite” scotches on WhiskeyTube include at least one Ardbeg selection. Not only is it a great distillery, but including it is necessary to appease the Ardbeg cultists. 😂🥃😋
ОтветитьTotally beside the subject of this video, I wonder if y'all could do one of corn whisky some time. Corn whisky is the orphan step child of American whiskey, but some of it's pretty good. 🙂
ОтветитьIs it just me, or does Ardbeg 10 year taste like a horse saddle?
Ответитьgreat choices however I might have included a 10 year Talisker in that contest
ОтветитьHave you had Dalmore 12 year? For around $60-65 it is very good highlands whiskey.
ОтветитьWhat's your opinion on j&b
ОтветитьNo Glen Scotia?
ОтветитьJohn Barr
Johnny Walker Black &
Glenlivet
Awesome taste, great price.
I find thar some Scotch drinkers love a heavy peat Scotch. Others, like me, detest peaty Scotch. I tend to like a light single malt. Edrador was great & kind of hard to find as the distillery was so small. Right now my favorite is Devron 12.. a nutty single malt, reasonably priced at around $50.
ОтветитьI'm a scotch drinker and john barr is exceptional
ОтветитьAll good choices for sure. I also love the Lagavulin 16 which is the first peated whiskey I tried. The Bunnahabin is great stuff especially the 21. And don't forget the Springbank, a great dram!!
ОтветитьAnyone planning a distillery tour trip book the tours way in advance. I had a difficult time finding openings. Toured Glenmorangie during the family trip. Excellent experience.
ОтветитьLove my Ardbeg, my son says, "It tastes like I'm chewing on a charcoal log." LoL but I would say that it's my special occasion Scotch. Good memories just sipping it.
ОтветитьDo you actually drink scotch or just read off the label? Interesting choices.
ОтветитьMy husband is a scotch drinker and loves to try new things. The last two don't seem to be available where we are, but I'm definitely going to be hunting down the others. Christmas is coming!!
ОтветитьYou do such a great job.
ОтветитьKurt just an idea. As you put the bottles on the table top can you zoom in on them so we can see them
ОтветитьI don't know what drunkenness is! If I drink too much I just get dizzy
ОтветитьLove bunnahabhain 12. Gonna have to give the 'classic ladie' a try as it's the only one I haven't on that line up. Good video 👍
ОтветитьDude you rule. Ardbeg is a fine whisky. Can't wait to try the others.
ОтветитьJob well done. However, some remarks concerning %ABV, chill-filtering and artificial coloring would be appreciated.
ОтветитьLeaving for Scotland soon. This was VERY helpful!
ОтветитьAdded the Arran to my list. Thank you!
ОтветитьLagavulin 16 is missing from your list!!!
ОтветитьGreat video Kurt, the Bunn 12 is amazing.
ОтветитьTry Edradour...
Try Dalwhinnie 15.. it's available for $65 or so when on sale..
And don't forget Monkey Shoulder. For $30 on sale, it is hard to beat.
Glenfarclas 12, $40
ОтветитьJohnny Walker black can’t be beat
ОтветитьBunnahabhain is not peated. There is a note of smoke/peat from water source.
ОтветитьTrenton, I wish you would zoom in on each bottle label. Some of us are not great spellers so a zoom in on the labels would help greatly. TIA.
ОтветитьAaaaaaardbeg ! Love it.
ОтветитьLove the Channel! Have you tried Craigellechie 13 out of curiosity? I have always found it a solid value for $50. Sorry if it has already been mentioned!
ОтветитьSince you don't have these listed in your notes, it would help if you included the spellings in an overlay on your video. Great list! But only one piece of chocolate cake??? What's wrong with you?😂
ОтветитьExcellent choices. I particularly like the Bunna. It’s very very good.
ОтветитьSir, Is that first name with a C or a K ❓ just discovered your channel enjoying it very much.
ОтветитьKurt looks like Larry Bird.
