Cyberpunk 2077 Just Got A NEW PATCH and Update! But What Does It Change? Plus: Recent Reviews Are In

Heres my issue w Cyberpunk, I bought day 1..pre ordered...didnt get the refund..stood by CDPR in hope they WILL turn this around..I've been holding out for the PS5 update..BUT..man..is it even worth it now? With as little storage the PS5 offers and all these MASSIVE barely does anything updates and hot fixes..do I really want to sacrifice a game(s) I enjoy to make room for this? What do I delete? Ghosts of Tsushima? Ratchet & Clank? Crysis Remastered? Spiderman? Astro bot? The division 2? No Mans Sky VR? And that's it..that's my dilemma..I regularly play and enjoy all these games..is Cyberpunk worth loosing any of these? They really need to compress the files somehow because I'm not going to install a 200+gb game that is just barely good enough to be considered a finished game..its not spectacular..its not what we were buying..the police and NPCs arent even more engaging than they were in GTA 3 for f%cks sake...really has me kinda regretting and doubting in CDPR..and I stood so firmly by them at the beggining..and now..I feel like they have said "screw it" and just want to push it back onto PSN get what they can out of it..and who knows..I feel like it's just beyond salvageable or CDPR already would have done some MAJOR changes to improve the gameplay and core systems..can I interact with things on the level as RDR2? Hell no..can I create my own story and path due to my choices? Hell no..can I just screw around and run from cops or steal a flying craft and amuse myself that way like GTA V? Hell no..I mean..where exactly is the value in this game besides having Keanue in it?? Let's face it..you can slap nice wheels a killer system and a pretty paint job on a ford escort and it's still going to drive like a ford escort..it will never be a Ferrari. And that is what we are all hoping CDPR can do with Cyberpunk

"The game as it should have been" is a comment thrown out a lot! I think a LOT of people were thinking "GTA5-as-the-world" with a splash of cyberpunk paint. I'm not so sure its a fair comparison to make - given the technical depth of GTA5 and the dedicated team(s) making that game the tour de force it is both in the game play and its numerous technical achievements from systems and features offered. Clearly THIS IS the bar many expected from CDPR and they should have had a handle on this expectation and worked towards this type of delivery. Moreover trying to make this a bespoke RPG experience was a waste of the teams time this should have been a more action-character game along the lines of how the new Tomb Riader's were handled making it a "V" specific story with upgrades you unlock along the way with much less of the faux-rpg bolted on - especially loot wise the game needn't have gone the looter-shooter rout and just given V a few good looks and cyber-upgrade options as the game the development vision was obviously muddied with the developer going one way and the Pondsmiths (Father and Son) pushing the whole rpg toolkit angle (I dare say). One thing is sure; the development brief suffered from scope creep and the game suffered as a result.

You shouldn't have had to read the Shards they should have been Recorded Spoken Word or atleast give Us the Chouse to switch something like that on. Not everyone are Great at Reading so You End up not bothering to get into that part of the Game. So You End up Loosing the Richness of the Experience.

For them to give Us the Game they Advertised & Promised, Shit that Ain’t happening anytime soon, they would have to completely Restructure, Write & Build.

I Loved what We were Admittended & Promised but Sadly We didn't get that, so it's been Delieted.

Fixing 1280 X 720 is awesome! We can play this much better on the GPD Wjn 3 or Aya Neo.

CD Projeckt owe it to gamers to drop the price of this game. They ***ed up bringing out an unfinished game, and tried to fix things after the fact. Selling this game at full price, even after the bug fixes, isn't worth $59.99. A price drop, along with the updates is a start towards redeeming themselves for their *** up of this game.

I moved on awhile ago ,bugs never were a problem ,it boring and nothing to do , all the game is just a shiny outside but nothing inside its insane that they are still fixing bugs, I dont see cdpr making a good game ever again .

They should have continued development for another year, and not bothered developing the game for PS4/XBone. Chalk it up to executive decisions, but you can't alter the realities of technology by wishful thinking.

Literally no new mechanics or features or more accurately not half the stuff they promised in trailers still. Really nothing actually improving content like being able to sleep at Julie apartment when you dating or just have sex (or they fixed it?) and date. It’s amazing how Fallout New Vegas is better Game from over ten years ago

it gonna be funny if they fix all the bugs and people realise it actually has no more excuses to cover up the underlining issues such as open world games from years ago doing more then this game

How about improving rewards for quests? I made huge effort to keep all the cyber psychos alive and what did I get? Eddies not anything cool. If I played FNV and had some tough quest I get great rewards

I hate playing a game of choices but it feels like the ideology of the developers forces choices. I love FNV because it provides diverse philosophical ideas and never felt like it was forcing me to play one of them and believe one of them

If I explore the wasteland of Fallout and Skyrim, RDR2 and other games and do the side quests I feel like it rewards me. This game doesn’t do that enough

Yeah! That is completely right! Even after CDPR fix all the bugs the game is still bad. There are many gameplay weak points. The story and visuals are good but gameplay is lacking quality a lot.

I bought the game for those mantis blades I'm not going to lie, I wasn't disappointed but after my second playthrough I stopped playing, not being able to save Jackie or yourself was a bummer,the playthroughs feel the same after meeting Jackie

I think the patch also added new radio music because I listen to the radio 24/7 and I'm hearing new songs i havent heard before ever

I think the most annoying glitch I've come across is this one: You're taking the stealth route, silently take out one of the guards, stash him behind a crate or a room (no dumpsters available), FAR away and out of sight of ANY other guards... then suddenly you get the message "body discovered, enemies alerted".

HOW!? I'm the only one there! There's no one (or cameras) else in the area. Sometimes I'm even on a different floor. Sometimes I wish I ignored stealth perks and just go in guns blazing.

CYBERPUNK FINAL CUT ! RE-RELEASE

Stopped playing this game after first play through. Not holding my breath on new content or anything great in the next year sadly. Glad I did the painting glitch for all my characters tho before they patched it lol 😂

I think I'll just wait on trying to install the patch.
The game may be glitchy it may be buggy but I Love it, I'm having lots of fun when it comes to games isn't that all that really matters.

The only glitch that really bothers me at all is when you get on a bike or in a vehicle the 1st person and your head disappears like a turtle and you can't see over the dashboard.

Warning to anyone playing on the PS4 without a patch don't duplicate anything this will corrupt your save.

I actually bought the PC version of cyberpunk 2077 1st luckily before I opened it when I got home I noticed the tiny little black writing on top of a big black bar that said actual game not included.

It was nothing but an empty Box of stickers with some downloadable nothing code I don't actually have the Internet of the Other than a smartphone.

Hey CD project red here's an idea when you sell a game put the game in the Box on an actual CD you will make BILLIONS more in sales if it doesn't need to be Hooked up to the Internet at all.

There are 7 billion people in the world only about a billion people have the Internet less than half those are gamers there are billions of people that have PC and councils with no Internet access. They would still like to play a game or actually get what they paid for.

The most common opinion I get from friends who have played Cyberpunk is that its a really good game, an interesting story and despite the bugs they like it. The hype is what killed it.
Its not what was promised, and a lot of people wanna talk about what they wish they had instead of talking about what they got. What they got was a sweet game with a lot of typical game bugs. Lots of AAA games have pop-in, NPCs stuck on objects, sudden clipping, etc. The expectations for Cyberpunk are unrealistic from an honest perspective.
Its just like what happened with No Man's Sky... they did not have the literal ability to make the game they envosioned, not with the tech and resources we had at the time. But if CDPR follows suit and they keep working on it, Cyberpunk 77 could very well be 'the greatest open world RPG shooter ever'.

Playstation players were just robbed. No other way they were going to save their own asses without showing PC only Gameplay. Had they shown the PS4 version no one would have bought it and they would have been worse off then they are right now. Also notice how the Playstation version gets absolutely no improvement and it's entirely catered to PC. They straight up used this base to salvage as much as possible.

Rockstar takes their time? So cdpr didnt take 12 years to make this? Lol cyberpunk had longer development then the gta ever did.. gta 5 Been out for 8 years now there's no way cyberpunk should be behind this far behind gta5 and it hasn't been out for a year yet. Gta 5 on ps3 is better then cyberpunk right now.
The problem with cyberpunk that would of made it much better and maybe go head to head with gta.. is if they didn't make it an so called rpg.. if they would of made it story driven with cutscenes and 3rd person it would of been dope as hell.

Rockstar can really put cdpr out of business now if gta6 was to have a cyberpunk theme or if saints row do it also. That will be bad for cdpr..

San Andreas, a 17 yr old game, had restaurants where you could walk in and eat as well as hot dog vendors.

The hell is all this hate? I never had any crash and barely encountered bugs, it's a damn awesome game! Sure, they need to fix stuff and especiall add back all the cut out content but still, amazing game!

I really hope that the game will get a better character creation system. For example, something like the one in Fallout 4 where you can literally morph the faces of characters. That's be super nice.

The devs stated it was made in 2 years not 8.
