Thanks for pointing out all the reasons not to get this car. Climate control on touch screen LCD was tried by Jaguar 15 years ago in the 2008 XF. It failed and Jaguar put the buttons back on the next version in 2015. The large LCD is even worse looking than it is in the Tesla cars. Gear shifter looks like copying a Skoda Octavia. BMW have ruined this car overall. But it is no surprise. One by one every thing BMW touch is getting worse. As a 3 owner, I can't believe how bad this car is from the inside. Next time I upgrade, I will have to go elsewhere. The G20 pre-facelift was a place you could be. But this is just totally unimaginative. Even the F30 is better than this. Message to BMW: Keep the infotainment screen separate from the driver dash. Put some effort into the design rather than have one long unsightly screen. I saw this car a few times at my BMW dealer and really was disappointing. Either my existing BMW lasts forever or will have to go for a Jaguar or even consider an A5 next time.

Horrible looking interior infotainment system. Why did BMW have to copy Mercedes? Whatever happened to ultimate driving machine? This looks more like computer on wheels than a driver oriented interior. 22MY looked so much better

Update : I love the car .But Adaptive cruise control and parking assist are still omitted .

I drove one and I drove a Lincoln...there's no comparison...the Lincoln has bmw beat. Trust me. Its crazy but true.

I like the outside update, looks good. But no shifter, no physical buttons, and no real car dashboard... the screen reminds me of cheap android tablets that are discarded every time a new one comes along. Disappointed on bmw. Would definitely not buy one anymore....

Why is no one talking about the fact that BMW just totally destroyed the Cockpit design by deleting the Instrument Cluster Cover???
What used to be the most Driver Center Cockpit in the Auto Industry is now replaced with a stupidly lame looking flat Interior with an unnecessarily long and ambiguous looking Infotainment Panel which feels "Naked" without a proper "Instrument Cluster Cover"...WTF???...
The 3 Series is a dynamic and athletic Sports Sedan with and aggressive Exterior Design, it is supposed to have an equally aggressive Driver centric Interior with a proper Instrument Cluster Cover which gives you the feeling of being in a fighter jet's cockpit...but now you will feel like you are driving a lame city car with no bite...
What kind of an idiot designer gives a soft and lame Interior design language to the most aggressive and iconic Sports Sedan in the World??? Have you lost your mind BMW???

Hi Thomas, I got a question for you, because you correctly promote Sensatec as an animal friendly choice. Well, I've just got a brand new G21 LCI, ordered Msport package with Sensatec seats (manual adjustment). Surprise surprise, on delivery, I found out that there is no tilt adjustment on the front seats. Apparently, BMW gives tilt adjustment only if you get animal leather seats! Why do they do this? Can you please check with BMW? Further, I got the impression that manual seats don't go as low as electrically actuated seats (which is important for tall guys). Overall, the car is fantastic, and indeed a huge leap forward with respect to F21. However, F21 manual seats were better. Frankly speaking, removing tilt adjustment option on Msport trim with Sensatec is quite annoying.

BMWs are now so technology-intensive, you really should always have two people in the car: The driver in the driver's seat, and in the front passenger seat a Systems Officer to run everything while the driver keeps hands on the steering wheel.

Please don't tell this plain connected tablets without any visual implementation are more expensive to manufacture than previous clusters. yikes.

Hi Thomas, since the display key is not available as an option for UK market, I do have a brand new ( never configured or paired with a car). Will I be able to pair this key with my G 20 LCI ( yet to be delivered…booked on 24 May ) ? Is it via software or is any hardware required! Another question…I was told by dealer that all 3 Series ( except M 340 and full blown M) will be built at Mexico plant…is that the case? My F30 LCI 330e and E90 was made in Germany! 😇Many thanks.

Still missing Adaptive cruise control & parking assist .Two features i have on my 2021 330i that I really love ,especially in traffic on the highway on long trips .

Thats a cool car, but those flat screens look very very weird on the panel... The designer was like "lets mimic Mercedes but with a poor job".

I love how he’s talking about the features of a car but narrates like its a golf game.There’s no need for hype since the car will definitely deliver a great experience.But i wonder if the 330i m sport comes in a diesel variant.
