ОтветитьI’m sticking pretty well in the 3.5-4 walk and 6.3 jog so far. It’s going well. My last run I’m planning on the 4 and 6.5 total to finish out the week. I’m pretty proud of where I’ve come. I lost a ton of stamina after appendicitis and surgery. I’ve never done one of the c25k programs before this and I almost think interval is harder than just straight running. Thanks for the challenge and inspiration.

On a different note will you recommend a budget friendly running shoe? I currently have barefoot Merrills that I use for walking my neighborhood but I’m noticing these aren’t the best for jogging. Help?!
If anyone is interested, I did this workout with a walking pace of 3.5 and running pace of like 5.5 and my treadmill says I burned 210 calories! I almost died at the last 5 minute run but pushed through and felt great afterwards, was out of breath but I felt great!! lol😅
ОтветитьI can't believe I just did this! Running has always been a source of anxiety for me, but I am so glad that I have persevered through these weeks. I honestly could not have ever imagined even running just 5 minutes straight - I hated it that much! But you guys are such a great source of motivation and information and I'm so glad to have found your videos.

ОтветитьThank you. This was my first day on week 4 and I did it all except I walked for 1 min. During the last 5 min rep. Not too shabby. But my goal is to not walk at all.

Week 1 and 2 were pretty easy, week 3 was a lot harder, but now, at my first run in week 4, I failed; those 5 minute running intervals are still too long for me. I'll keep retrying, of course. (I'm doing it at a 4 % incline, just to train harder at a lower speed.)

ОтветитьLove this workout. It was not easy but that's point. I did it for the first time today so I hope when I'll do it 3rd time, it feels little less hard.
ОтветитьGreat workout! I had to stop for 10 seconds on the last 5 min run but I'm confident that in the following days I will complete it with no problems.
