What a bunch of Hicks. Slump way to wet, 2x4 for a screed rod. LOL. You could see it bow when they pulled the rod which is going to leave dips when they bend their wrists up. Nobody knew how to properly cut/rake mud, no mesh or rebar(good luck with the cracking) I hope they at least had a single trowel machine. The last guy I seen had a frigging landscape shovel attempting to add more concrete to a low spot. Last form was just thrown in to place, it was bowing and not even to line grade. Everyone had new boot so you know they were all green as fk.

That first truck, the driver should be embarrassed. Shows up on site with a 1" slump at best. Rocks and powder coming down the chute... then adds water and turns it into soup!

Any self respecting ready mix guy would have done a slump check before dropping any... and would have known 5 to 6" slump for a good flow without being so wet it takes forever to set.

I drove a mixer for 35 years. ( also pushed many wheel barrow loads & draged many yards of mud.) I NEVER liked to see good concrete turned into soup !!! just to make the job easy. 👎
