David George was a Black Baptist preacher who made a home in Nova Scotia. He was kind of the Martin Luther King Jr. of his day, and his preaching and actions - alongside external factors - would prompt the Shelburne Race Riots. I would love to talk about this more with @revedtrevors4961 at some point. #BlackHistoryMonth
