I grew up eating all these. I missed it so much (my childhood) .....the noodle shop owner speak burmese. I am glad you try the bean/gram noodle, one of my fav. never heard anyone call porridge before. =). Micha is also enjoying the noodle =)

Mark love this Market! I would love to try food from here. The triangular treat filled with potato and cinnamon and you added that chili sauce for breakfast. Loved the huge noodle dish at lunch with the banana trunk. Then my favorite the sugar cane snack and the noodles with tomato sauce and spicy seasonings plus the porridge like pea noodles dish. Very friendly atmosphere. Love seeing Ying and Micah enjoying as well! Can't believe he is 6 now. I hear both Ying and Micah in the background
