Ответить…I’m 76yrs old…an Evertonian for at least 70 of them…💙…I’ve seen the best, and the worst at that beautiful old Ground..💙..and I’ll go to the grave with “THE SPIRIT OF THE BLUES”…I absolutely worship the club…an Evertonian to the bone! 💙
ОтветитьMakes the hair stand up on the back of your neck 💙 don’t care what others say, they don’t matter, UTFT!!
ОтветитьI've supported this club for 20 years and I remember the EXACT first match I saw at Goodison. But now 😢 it's going to be destroyed. 5 games left at Goodison.
1889 - 2025
It will be in my heart forever.Going to miss the upper Bullens and those around me. We move on to the new ground. Spirit of the Blues.
ОтветитьAnother historic stadium in England gone. Farewell Goodson Park.
ОтветитьWow the old lady managed to touch me again from my first game at the end of the seventies to now it's etched in my memory forever goodbye old girl
ОтветитьI teared up watching that ..........I may be over 7000 miles away now , but my heart is still there, so many memories of amazing highs & lows, but always passion .

ОтветитьHappy birthday Everton 👏👏👏
Ответить76 and grew up listening to my dad and his dad tell me about Everton’s greatest achievement. Dixie Dean scored 60 goals in a season and his two inside forewards each scored 30 a piece. Beat that!!
ОтветитьI’m gonna shed a few tears my last time at goodison. Watching this got me good
ОтветитьGoodson was always my favourite away game with Newcastle. The ground environment and atmosphere were magic.

ОтветитьI'm an Australian, born into the club through an Evertonian father who grew up in Walton, right next to The Spellow. He migrated to Australia in the 1970's, met my Australian mother and stayed here to raise a family.
Growing up in the late 80's and 90's, all I got to see of Everton were the highlights that were on every Tuesday night. I remember watching Everton play with my dad, in absolute awe of the Goodison crowd. I longed to visit Goodison my entire childhood. Every time I saw Goodison, I felt homesick - even though I'd never visited at the time. I knew I had to get over and see them play.
When I was 25, I got my British passport, booked a one way ticket to London before catching a train up to Liverpool. I moved into a houseshare in Kenny that I found on Gumtree, got work at an energy broker just off Castle Street in the city.... All so I could hold a season ticket for Goodison Park.
I had a season ticket for Moyes' last season, and Martinez's first season, sitting in the Lower Gwladys. I was welcomed with open arms by every Evertonian I met during my few years in Liverpool. My father even came to visit me while I lived there, and we went to see two games at Goodison together. I'm gutted we didn't get to see more together, him being the reason I support this magnificent club, but I will cherish those two games forever - especially now he's in his twilight years and will probably not be able to visit again...
Now, 38, back in Australia, engaged to an amazing woman and starting a family of my own - I am so thankful I got to experience life in Liverpool as an Everton season ticket holder. I had planned to visit Goodison one last time before we moved to the new stadium.... However, finances just didn't allow for it. As heartbreaking as that is, I am so so grateful I was able to witness some incredible games, in incredible atmosphere.
Goodison Park, forever in my heart.
Sincerely, probably your most passionate Australian member of the Everton Family.... Hopefully one day soon you will see me again.
I’m not crying you are 😢
ОтветитьI'm in bits here. I've spent 55 years there. Seen the great times, the bad and the terrifying during the relegation years... we are special, that ground is special and my memories are priceless 💙💙💙💙
ОтветитьIn bits here. I won't want to leave after the Southampton match
ОтветитьEVERTON FOREVER, FOREVER EVERTON
ОтветитьSimply the best my beloved Everton ❤.
ОтветитьBrought tears to my eyes this. End of an era 🥲💙
ОтветитьReids Cross Gray!!!!!

Beat me to it, and so do I!
70 years watching Everton and living every minute. I will be like that to my very last. Thank you Everton!
ОтветитьMakes you almost wish we weren't moving to a new stadium. I hope what ever is built in its place has some sort of connection with Goodison
ОтветитьLiving in Japan crying my eyes out watching this! I won’t be able to experience Goodison one last time 😢 but the memories will last forever. Give it the send off it deserves Toffees ❤
ОтветитьWonderful
ОтветитьSad times very emotional, born and bread in Liverpool, a blue from at least 5yrs old, snook in many times as a kid, I went every game at home that I was able too. memories!! now at 58 I doubt I will ever get back to my blue home of Goodison due to disability, OMG what would I give for one minute to be there ... everything... Hey ho! Gonna miss it like hell... COYB
ОтветитьBrilliant piece, well done to all involved... emotional farewell while we excitedly look forward to the next chapter.
ОтветитьEven tho we've been terrible for ages there's still something about Everton that is special. I hope the future can be as successful as the past when i used to go to Goodison in the 80s' COYB.
ОтветитьLove you Goodison Park so sorry and sad for leaving you alone
ОтветитьBuild big bad stadium for muslims!
