How does survive on an artist's salary in France? Does she come from wealth?

I have been living in Monaco since 5 years ago and my struggles are almost daily. France is the most beautiful places in Europe in terms of weather and locations. But the food is bad as s** and the variety of almost everything is boring. Thanks god we can go to Italy anytime we want, back home in England twice a year and my mum bring half of Spain with her when she visits us. Otherwise, live here will be bland. Remember money cannot buy everything! 😊

I'm sorry but... it must be a New York City thing to just hold up an item and throw money at a cashier. I would NEVER do that and I don't know ANYONE in my town who would. People always say hello to each other, or a polite nod when walking past someone. I'm sad she never got to experience this in the States, and it's at least anecdotal evidence that NYC/NY does not represent the whole of the US.

A really lovely interview but the constant zooming in and out and up and down is extremely distracting from what Jamie is saying. I'm not sure why the camera person wouldn't just set up the shot and leave it.

I followed you since your early days with your New York agency and I actually thought your move to France was planned and everything mapped out beforehand. You married your partner and had Elise, you rented your house . Now what you describe is quite different, also the first time I hear you commenting your choices. Its so different from what I understood until now. All the best from me since around eight years !
