Imo the season 5 villain will be Borys since in will’s painting it showed the boys attacking a big red dragon and we know will has a connection to all this stuff so maybe that dragon was borys and he will come to fight them in s5

My theory: the demo-bats combine somehow and become a three-headed hydra killing many people as they did for Eddie season 4. Because will somehow convince will to become evil on his past life and how badly everyone treated him. Either will with turn on and kill vecna or eleven will somehow defeat him. I'm not sure about the rest but I feel strong about the demo-bats becoming a hydra as we never saw then fight demo-bats in a single d&d match.

I have this theory

Eleven might be contacting future max through her abilities so that they can both tackle the upside down and vecna perhaps max gives eleven all the stuff thats happening in the future without her having to time travel somehow (for example, max knows ahead of time that vecna is going to take over hawkins by killing someone, max notifies eleven about his plan and she crushes it and they move back and fourth until he gives up or is defeated) if that makes sense

And obv El can't do it herself so she's gonna need help and she'll try to find Kali/08 w her powers but they won't be enough so she's onna try to find the other children who escaped bc as u know not all of the children died or maybe she's gonna find other people with powers who never got captured by Brenner but maybe Kali lost her powers too as another theory
