In all seriousness, I would not be the least bit surprised if the English FA very quietly has a quota system in place to prevent the full senior national team from being a virtually all Black/biracial side like France. Because the reality is nearly the entire senior team would be Black/biracial players if it was just based on talent alone. And before anyone starts to mock, banter, or belittle I’m White myself and have spent decades playing, coaching, and officiating at high levels of the game. What I’m saying is based on objectively watching players and their performance levels, nothing more.

Mo you're a plank. I like that you use some stats, but you're living in a computer game if you think they are the be all and end all. Some players are better than others I think that is a fair statement. If a prime time Messi/ Ronaldo had played 12 games at the start of the season scored a couple of goals and then been injured and ruled out until the last couple of games of the season then got called up for their country. Are you seriously going to sit there and say Why are you taking Messi/Ronaldo? No of course you aren't because they have a stellar track record and the reason they haven't done as well in that particular season is due to an injury. You could also look at Haaland there's people saying he's had a bad season(scoring 27 goals) while Solanke has had a great season scoring 19.

The next thing is you seem to have this notion that an international team/squad should be formed solely based on form, which is ridiculous. If you did this you would have completely different teams and squads every game. I can't think of too many teams that have had success from chopping and changing players one game to the next. Also should we not consider England form? Seeing as playing for your club and country is completely different. Not only do you play with different players, you have a different manager, tactics. But also a different competition. Playing 38 league games isn't the same as playing knockout football. One would presume that is a completely different pressure. Harry Maguire has had an ok season and you could argue Tomori has had a better one. But Maguire has built a relationship with John Stones and they have a very good defensive record together for England. For example they conceded 2 goals at the last euros, 2 goals in 7 games.

I would suggest getting down from your high horse simply because you have some stats.
