Win2USB is a virus do not use within 1 hour of installing it I got a duplicate os partition on my disk even though I didn't use it yet. Then after rebooting I got the blue screen of death

Just for future reference for anyone doing a re-install after wiping your C: Drive clean especially using a third party app. If you use the creation media for an ISO file and WinToUSB program you won't need to change the boot order. Leave the internal drive first and when the laptop starts hit ESC. This will bring up the options then for to boot menu and select your drive to load the ISO file and install windows. That way the laptop will load into windows after restarting. If you change the boot order to load your removable drive first and forget to change after the restart then it goes into a loop asking to re-install windows again and eat up memory if you are new and don't realize what is happening.👍👍

Would you be willing to update your video using WinToUSB version 8.0? Your 2017 video was very very good but the new Version 8.0 has some changes in the format that amateurs like me find confusing!

ssd that ive been using for windows has some sort of corruption error i suppose, so i have to reinstall windows on it now. 99% of personal files are on the HDD so it doesnt really matter if the ssd has to be formatted but i backed everything up that i could just in case. Im gonna try this and try a couple things;
- Reinstall Windows without formatting ssd
--If successful, see if the files are still there
- Format and Install windows and even check if it works again
ill be back soon

edit 1: alright, its forcing me to format, but again its okay since everything on there is either windows or content from things like steam that you can just redownload and all data is online, it just feels weird having to format it, like im trying to fix a broken window by smashing the rest of the glass in order for a new window to fit in. Thats a great analogy, isnt it?

edit 2: i skipped the setup process on the laptop after getting windows on the drive, because i wanted to set it up on the other pc, but now nothing is working, not even the keyboard lights up. I suppose ill set windows up on the drive from the laptop.

while choosing destination disk, if a disk 1 pops up with a random name never chose it, it formats the main drive and your pc is done for, well you can reinstall windows but you will still lose all your data.
