Great movie. 🎉

Great movie...But the ending was lame. They should have cut it off before all the interviews and all that stuff in the end. My suggestion: Turn it off when they are outside and can hear the police sirens.

Strange movie why they said it’s a comedy horror?!

Hmmm sort of a Mr and Mrs. Smith scenario at the beginning which escalated way out of proportion very quickly, which I was grateful for. Gruesome to say the least and isn't it always a given that people will take what happened to them and make it a controversy in order to make money - Rooney always great and the rest of the cast look like they really enjoyed all the gore... effective.

Just finished watching and it was definitely a dark comedy. My family laughed at least 10 times or more. It a lil slow in the beginning but the humor is there. The dark part is the amount of blood and crazy stuff. The only scene that I felt could’ve been short was the pool table scene. It was a little too long which started making me feel a bit uncomfortable but it never does anything too extreme or goes thru with it. Def a great show highly recommend.

Also it on most languages so that was great which made my mom laugh in Spanish.

Thanks everybody for the comments. I watched 10 minutes of it and I thought nah. Saw the raving comments and I thought I’d give it a chance. Thank God I stuck with it. One of the best things I’ve ever watched in a long time.

This movie is like if "War Of The Roses" raped "Funny Games" and Quentin Tarantino directed it. They just don't make movies like this anymore in this pu$sy, liberal country. Take notes America, the Sweeds have more balls than you😂. I love this movie.

It wasn't bad at all. Funny with gruesome scenes. Lots of blood n gore. The funniest part was his father getting into that car and precisely describing what is it like to own a car. LOL.

The scene where the old man was trying to make a break for it in a modern car was about the funniest thing I've ever seen 😄

So entertaining, I wasn't bored for a minute. Amazing!!!!

the best part of this movie is the 3 minute montage of the prisoners traveling

i take issue with it being referred to as a comedy - i mean, i get it, dark humour, etc etc, but let's not kid ourselves, its was a pretty heavy movie at times. I loved it, and will watch it again, but this is not my definition of comedy...unless of course Very Bad Things is your definition of comedy, then by all means, enjoy your comedy lol. Either way - really good, very "extra", not a dull moment AND you actually feel for the characters.

Not sure if anyone else felt this was but especially at the end Petter resembles Victor Crowley in the horror movie Hatchet 3
Especially when the way he moves to avoid the flare gun just like when Victor Crowley moves his shoulder to avoid the bazooka.
He looks like a human version of Victor Crowley that’s not deformed.

If anyone notices this I give you props.

Funny thrilling movie

I don’t understand how people liked this movie. The plot was weak and cheap and you could see it coming from miles away. The violence was extremely unrealistic and overdone, the humor took away all thrill/horror and none of the characters deserved empathy. The first half was a 7, last half was a solid 3.

Very entertaining movie. I laughed a lot. And it's also tence. A great combination. Original plot twists. Together with the Banshees of Inisherin the best movie I have seen in 2023 so far.
I also really really liked the fact that all the music in the film was 'local'. Except for the credits. It's the details that count!

Brilliant as the big Hollywood multi billion dollar movie industry with the same old wealthy celebrities mugs constantly making comes backs and making repetitive fame and fortune I'm V bored with. i'm tried of hearing those idiots who think just because their famous celeb is starring in another film , the film is going to be a major hit. so wrong. I hope one day we can do away with making the same old famous people multi millionaires. There is way better talent out there. and in this movie . The Trip. It Certainly has that talent. Leave room for newbies.

This was really such a great watch. The combination of humor, suspense, and heartfelt moments were great, not to mention the violence. Love it!

This my type of movie, really strange, thrilling, and funny all at the same time. I watched it today, and I can honestly say it is a good movie, not the best, but good.

Watched it with low expectations but surprised how good it started flowing after 15 mins till the end. 7/10 👏

My major critque of this film is that it was hard to know who the ultimate villian was from different parts of the movie. It makes me feel "a little all over" and in some small ways, disoriented. One thing I can't critisize is what a great film... I felt excited and sometimes even my heart was in my throat! Even if the landing wasn't a perfect 10, it seemed that there was a sincere attempt to make a strong female character. While not perfectly executed (and despite some people's strong and WEIRD objections to this sort of thing), diversity in film protaganists makes movies more realistic and engaging in my opinion. In the end, this film was a love story- two people doing the ultimate challenge to fall in love again. It is also worth noting that, well :::spoiler alert:::

the love they create, while beautiful comes at the expense of an innocent man. Just food for thought! In conclusion, the movie is really something I watched. Could possinly have added plot and direction corrections, but overall something I would watch.

While some producers set the bar way too high and others too low, Netflix goes for the underground option for good movies. Another shallow, mediocre, and disposable production that only Netflix can offer us.

I end up watching this with subtitles imo This movie would have been so much better (for me) had they done the English version with the actors voice instead of a different actor. Both Noomi and Aksel Hennie speak English very well. The over dubbing wasn't awful but it wasn't the voices of the actual actors and it could have been easily. Just my 2 cents.... fun movie though. I think Aksel is going to have a good 10 years at least getting good parts. He could easily play Bill Burrs brother in a movie
