Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 FULL LORE AND ANALYSIS!

I'd be interested in a look on the fates of the Smiling Critters. The cut outs seem to hint at some things.

seeing how chapter 3 have so many bioshock vibes
and the second dream scene pretty much scream "what you believe isnt real"
i started to realize our character might be like jack from bioshock
a person with fake memories, used by someone as the ace in the hole to bring down the big boss, aka the prototype, in order to take over rapt-i mean the factory
mommy said she knows us
because we looked like someone else
someone who had a kid that became an adult
or put inside a human like toy figure to pass as an adult

Longshot theory.
In the next Poppy Playtime we will see animals and a zoo because the scientists need animal DNA to sequence the monster DNA.

I think the prototype has set up the obstacles in our way so that we can prove ourselves to him. By destroying these characters he also gets stronger too. He gets Huggys Wide mouth of teeth, mommy’s stretchable torso/arms , Cat naps hallucinogenic gas. I don’t even think we will necessarily see him in Chapter 4. Chapter 4 will pickup will have us explore the labs and find out more about the experiments but leave us at a cliffhanger about to face the prototype for a culminating chapter 5 where we take on the prototype

im so deep into the poppy playtime lore currently (mostly bc im extremely depressed and it serves as an awesome distraction lol) and ur video was just ~ chefs kiss
idc what anybody says about the "mascot horror" genre, some of these games have some of the best lore and best story telling i just cant seem to steer away from it.

I do think there will be 2 more chapters at least. I think Chapter 4 will finally be giving an answer as to if Huggy is alive or not, and Chapter 5 will be us killing the prototype.

Ludwig is Poppy and the prototype is the Ludwig child. The death in the family.

You definitely need to cover more of Poppy Playtime or other indie games. FNaF was good, but I want to see more different games got the spotlight

Theory: What if we are Rich from the Stuart and Rich tape? I don't know which tapes he was mentioned in but I'm pretty sure he has been mentioned before in previous tapes. And in this Chapter 3 tap he seems very upset by the playcare in general claiming they should have fresh light. Stuart offers him a higher position in the company but who knows just how high up he managed to get. He seems to really care about the kids but hates the company he works for. Maybe he quit the day before the hour of joy or called in sick or something that when he heard about the news he just knew he should have done something. It has a lot of holes but it's not completely impossible

That is actually a really cool theory, the Prototype trying to turn back into human. And possibly everyone he has absorbed, which is why he absorbs them

On another note the Prototype seems to only want to take broken toys. Which correlates to what may have been the start of the program. Saving those dying, or resurrecting the dead.

The Prototype may also be starting a wipe out, of the toys, ending it all. On another note, I think I figured out how he went unnoticed until the unfortunate accident with Theodore.

The Scientists did not think it worked, so they just left him alone, unnattended and so he hid around the large company. Possibly thought he was still dead and just moved the body and then he got up.

Because as the monster you are grabbing employees to eat. Thus 'get up, the others are hungry.'

I think the door that Theodore (CatNap) tried to open having instructions from the prototype was the door in Poppy Playtime Chapter 1, when the power disconnects and we have to power it again.

Maybe Ollie is the phone itself. It has eyes, with which he could have seen what Ollie supposedly saw. It would definitely be unexpected.

When we die we got messages on a screen what if it is the prototype ?

It's probably not true but I almost want to say Ollie is actually the green robot (boogie bot) we've seen almost everywhere. I say this because every time Ollie talks his name tag is green. But that's really my only evidence. That and I guess a robot could be as tech savy as Ollie seemingly is in chapter 3. I like the idea of mommy leg's baby helping us or the prototype secretly leading us to him, I just feel like no one is mentioning how the name tag is green and how, usually, the color of the name tag matches the color of the character that is talking.

I know that in chapter 3 it was said that catnap was the finale obstacle to the Prototype.

But in the hour of joy video we can clearly see boxy boo ( sorry if that’s wrong) on some level of the facility eating people so he is for sure a real threat to us that we have not encountered yet. Maybe he will be apart of the next area?

Ollie could potentially be Cat Bee. Cat be seems like a very cute and innocent toy so a young boy made into the main Cat Bee toy(Like Huggy being the main Huggy toy and then all the mini huggy's and the different coloured huggy's). And since there was a lot of Cat Bee cardboard cut outs and posters in just this chapter alone I wouldn't be surprised if they were meant to be hints as to Ollie. The cardboard cut outs acting like a stand in "Watching" you while you do everything. Cause some how he could see everything we were doing or at least had some way of knowing.

Another theory Ludwig could also be the Prototype they experimented on him simultaneously killing and experimenting on kids which drove the Prototype mad because he loved the kids so he revolted hence why he help Theo try and escape but failed which made Theo CatNap and the reason why the hour of joy took place to free the kids from cruel testing. Also Poppy is his daughter that died that’s why he had her locked up because he wasn’t to keep his daughter alive even if she’s confined

I like this simple theory, the protagonist is Rich from the vhs tapes, only because is the only employee that hear the most besides the scientist, and probably wasn't in the Company anymore when the Hour of joy happened

There is one thing i don't get it, why is Catnap in his hallucination form when we see him in the worship scene?

edit: (Now that i think about it maybe is just in his normal form and i was the one hallucinating)

Think Ollie is the Prototype and he is deceiving and using the protagonist as a way to get what he wants the reason why he killed CatNap because he is no longer useful and is going to use the player body as a way to become human again. Remember the Prototype can manipulate its voice to sound like people what if it is using his voice before getting turned into the prototype (Ollie) as a way to befriend the protagonist.
