What Happened to TREASURE - How Did YG Entertainment FAIL AGAIN!?

I might get hated for this but I've said I wouldn't be surprised if they left yg.

Now he has gone solo, and hes talked a little bit about leaving, I think you were spot om with your thinking Nathan, I dont think yedam planned to be in a group and that wasnt the dream he was sold, and then when he wasnt even given the opportunity to do what he wanted to do, he had no choice but to go. Lets ignore the fact that the survival show Treasure box was never supposed to happen. They were slated to debut back in late 2017 early 2018 as the original 11 members Hyunsuk, Junkyu, Doyoung, Jihoon, Noa, Woong, Byounggon, Seunghun, Yedam, Raesung, and Midam. The original lineup was robbed the best friends that struggled through everything together, replaced by the "New and Shiny" and if i had to guess. One of the biggest reasons Yedam specifically left is because the previously mentioned members were almost all gone and Treasure was curated with no freedom musically until recently with the "Reboot" shit where people in the group actually got to participate more in production and other things. Really this is all Yang Hyunsuk's fault for picking his favorites instead of picking who the public wanted. but i digress. its all love to treasure really i enjoy there music and i have no issues with any of the members. I just wanted silverboys and the silverboys also wanted the silverboys. simple as that.

Even if I started stanning other groups, Treasure will always have that special spot for me. After Mashidam left it was really hard for me to love treasure the same as before bcz yedam was my bias and I also started to lose my interest in kpop but svt pulled me in, in that phase and I started to love svt more. But now, the new Treasure, the new concepts, the new music, their determination to work harder even after suffering from a huge loss really enlightens me a lot. They are really amazing!!💎

these guys are unfortunately lost treasure. blackpink's contract renewal is still up in the air and yg put all their efforts to reel in as much capital with the girls' world tour to invest in babymonster in case the former goes kaput. ikon and winner were/are relatively successful but look at them now. they never made a dent in comparison to bigbang, 2ne1, blackpink's success. the same goes for treasure.

I'm a yg stan i really watch this boys in their survival show. But now i cannot even listen to their songs because their sounds was change even Ikon, when BI left their sounds was different too.

When you become 30s its hard to follow now kpop because of a busy and hectic schedule 😢❤

Sadly in true YG fashion, instead of allowing Treasure to be their own group, you can clearly see his efforts to transplant Big Bang into them. Just as he did 2ne1 in Blackpink.

Mashiho leaving due to health reminding me of the incident when he hurt his knee I think in one of the performance in the Treasure Box. I was so worried about him because you can really see he worked super hard and really wanted to debut in Treasure. For Yedam I have seen it coming. I wish the best for both of them because I love all the members of Treasure. Like many said Treasure have so many talents and all rounders in the team so I don't think it would affect in term of performance quality.

I've never doubted I Stan these very talented group. I must say the only 4th gen boy group I Stan rn. And even though Yedam and Mashi left the group I know these boys could grow even more bigger. Let me tell you this Treasure might not be big right now but I'm sure that every hard work pays off. I'm happy that Treasure keeps growing like now. MARK MY WORDS, TREASURE GONNA BE BIG.

Just to say Mashiho was my bias, the reason i kept up with treasure and i took my distance with kpop when he left... I'm getting back to it cause i still love treasure as a group, no doubt i'm going to miss him a lot tho

YG definitely failed these boys from the very beginning by putting the two groups together. When all know the main group should have debut on their own. Actually they shouldn’t have even been on the show. Honestly they would have been a power house super group in my opinion. IDK who in charge over there at yg but combining the groups was weird. Each group should have stayed the same and debut just like that.

Treasure is an amazing group. They are still growing and they can evolve to more

because treasure is a big group with lots of members. you should understand its weakness of a big group. short lines, small parts, less time. and with fans' demands and questions, also there's scary fans that will break the team's spirit with scandal. with strict rules and no freedom. it's really tiring.
honestly, I sensed its future when I saw the list on treasure box but I didn't want to admit it and support them fully. I believe YG wanted to make 5-7 members group at first but because of fans' demand, YG debuted 12 members group.
I didn't want to admit but I hate it. I really love Yedam's voice.

These were my favorite members, I'm so saddddd, but I'll keep rooting for the group and watching to see what Yedam and Mashio do next 😢

I will miss Mashiho gorgeous smile but I am forever treasure fan. They will do find without Yedam. There is like 10 of them left and they are all super talented and we choose them to be in this group so we have to stick with them and respect whoever want to leave the group choice. I still don’t get why they put Yemda in the group when he want to be a solo artist? I am sure a lot of YG boy want to be in his place. Japan tour nov 22-jan 23 get more attendence than 4gen called "world tour" ..they get list one of popular song hello in time magazine..n most attention group in Grammy article..Yedam n mashi is good members doesn't mean others is not..they being called around group for reason

As I predicted if yedam left treasure, they will in trouble and it's happening. Take yedam back to the group.

I will continue looking for and after Treasure, but I am quite sad and confused about them leaving... They did catch my eye the most. But to think I might never hear Yedam singing or see him dancing...Kinda breaks my heart. I listened to all the unreleased bits of song he was working on and I can't understand how YG didnt let him produce Treasure's songs or his own album.
I like how the song Yedam composed was used and sung by one of Winner's members but (I am quite selfish in that) I wanted it sung by Yedam. I am so hooked on his voice, it's insanely good

I love the original Treasure and the Treasure now!! I will always support them! I would love to hear Yedam sing again when he is ready!! Also same with mashiho my forever bias!! I would love to see him sing and dance again when. he is ready!!!

I don't like Treasure songs, the pre debut there were great but their songs now not that good imo. I'm happy that Yedam got out bc he is so talented to be in such a huge groupe I hope we can see him soon

YG needs to go back to how they were letting their idols write their songs they lost a Gem Yedam should have been able to work on treasures songs and make himself into a better artist like most self producers in idol groups YG lost a gem and I hope Mashiho gets better soon
