If devs optimize games it could means that GPU lats longer, but I doubt it this will be the case.

I really like the content from TwoMinutePapers but hate the way its narrator constantly uses this phony awe-inspiring voice. I stopped listening to him and just use closed captions to read his script, it's so bad.

Pc gaming is more expensive in general. A pc with console graphics and fps equivalent cost more than a console itself. A $400-500 pc wont have as good graphics as a ps5 unless you get lucky and find some great deals on used parts. I have around $800 in mine and just now satisfied with its performance. Just got a rtx 3060 only tried dlss on one game so far, crysis 3 remastered. With dlss set to extreme performance and rt and other settings on high, I wasn't very impressed. Felt sluggish too much unput lag, also front sight was blurry, turned dlss and rt off and performed much better. I should have just went with AMD.

Frame generation, and upscaling has been around forever in modern TV's. DLSS is a variant of that. Infact, they call it the "soap opera effect", when you turn frame generation on some TV's because it makes the video look like it was taken on a home camera.

You can NOT get frame generation on a 2060. Nvidia locked it down. You can get 3.5, but not 3.0 DLSS. Which makes no sense, but it's how it is. And 3.5 is useless for the RTX 2000 series, since it's too weak for path tracing anyways.

DLSS and FSR will be our downfall, the game manufacturers are already not optimizing their games. Neither before nor after release.
PC games will get worse and worse optimized in the future and DLSS and FSR will only accelerate that.
Why is that, we don't give a shit about optimization because the games still run well with FSR and DLSS.

I just gpt a 4070 and this is awesome, runs with RT at 1440p 80-90 fps.

upscaling is nothing new they are improving it for games. these high price gpus are selling you fake fps

The funny thing is, I tried to relive my college days when we would play ghost recon (the original original) in the dorms. I started playing and I'm like Jesus christ these graphics are so bad literally unplayable, how tf did I enjoy playing this game.
