My favourite time period to wear is late 1930s-early 1940s. I do love a super full skirt as well though. I look forward to seeing you sew some of these up in the future.

Simplicity 8248 is absolutely worth it. I made mine out of a burgundy poly crepe with light blue accents and it is one of my favorite makes of last year.

Haya. I have some of your patterns as well. I really like the 1940s. On the Sailor suit, if you ever make it let me know how you got along with it as I found it troublesome around the Sailor collar, also the rise is VERY long, I am tall & I needed to raise it A LOT. Thanku 'sew' much for sharing. Ana. x
