Tuning chops to middle C was brilliant. Lost me on the octave repitching--very Alvin. Still,
a brilliant video

This was a great level of detail. I would LOVE to see a "make music like" video of Don Diablo or even Guetta & Morten Future Rave style.

Really, really helpful. I find a lot of Ableton tutorials for some of the more complex tools (like the sampler) rely on too much working knowledge of how Ableton works in other areas.

have couple of doubts here
1. what if my vocal chop is in D Minor, then on the zone section on the sampler, do i need to start my root samples from D-2 to C#-1 ??
2. As i have just 4 chopped samples , so if start from Bottom Root Sample which is from D-2 to D2, i wont be able to play any note in D3??? so should i get extra vocal chops and add them or duplicating one from the 4 will do the job.

Hey Will! Thanks for the tutorial. You mentioned a bit about OTT preset for Ableton. May I ask you to share your OTT preset from this video for Ableton? Thanks in advance

Is it bad if the vocal changes pitch doring the slice? I am trying to do a kygo style vocal chop melody.

Can you do a how to manage Bass/Kick (which you have) but with layered synth pads over the top... side chain or just segment each item into a frequency... though that loses the dynamics for me

Hi, What are the free alternatives of little alterboy? they don't have to be exactly the same features. Maybe, by using more than one free plugin at the same time. , thanks.

When you placed the different chops over the octaves, I thought I would have done that with Velocity. Otherweise your melody becomes really confusing - just a tip for those, who think like me ;)

Good Video!
