It’s looking more and more like JOBY will be the last eVTOL standing. Lillium is financially unsustainable and if studied in detail a hopeless technological boondoggle. Archer is way too heavy. Ehang is too loud with absurdly limited range. Vertical is crawling into a hole.
ОтветитьGreat to see King Schools still kicking on.
ОтветитьVibration, harmonics of multiple motors = structural deterioraton short term and worse, long term. Multi blade designs are likely a failed concept. Vibraton has been the Achilles heel of all mechanical inventions even from the days of the wooden wheel
ОтветитьUS constructions always fails 😅👍💐
ОтветитьSo is the range of Wag Aero kits (if they can be called that) still on the market?
The Cub replica for example.
marry me and be holland holland
ОтветитьWait until we see these multi rotor vtols have bird strike.
Ответитьочень красивая девушка
ОтветитьUmbelievable that there is no video about showing the crash.
ОтветитьDekalb (PDK) is pronounced without the L, just De-cab. :)
ОтветитьDefinitely with a CD9 they can jump from 35,000 ft
ОтветитьGreat video...👍
ОтветитьWell shit, ev plane just freaking crashed at least it didn’t burn down
ОтветитьNo better proof that even eight propellers won't save your a$$ in the event of a failure.
What is actually wrong with the single rotor machine, also known as helicopter?
Why do they want to replace proven effectiveness with smaller, noisier and less efficient propellers?
And Irwin continues his destruction of aviation supply.
ОтветитьWhy the hell are they gluing the blades onto the motor? They look like they're just smooth bits of carbon fibre with nothing but the adhesive holding it in. Of course they're going to come off if they're stopping and starting constantly and being in different temperatures.
ОтветитьHolland excellent report. Voice quality, poise and pace are spot on. Looking forward to seeing more of your reports. Have a great week. Cheers!
ОтветитьThe VA-1X appears to be a problem waiting to happen and it happened. Too many rotary blades to rely on to keep it in the air. One rotary failure proved fatal.
ОтветитьSad face, that doesn’t look cheap.. or repairable
ОтветитьAll that motor redundency didn't help make for softer bounce,... The systems allowing remote operation certainly proved their value, though at this stage, fixed twin motor standard configuration may be more beneficial then multi-roter for electric flight.
ОтветитьDoing a great job Holland! Your professional commentary is excellent! 😃👍
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this format and video, thankyou.
ОтветитьIf it only dropped from 30 feet I wouldn't expect a wing spar failure eh?
ОтветитьVA-1X bonding issues: Music for the crash video: Suede's 'Beautiful Ones' "...lost it to Boss Tik."
ОтветитьMore British air trash
Ответитьwag-aero bought by spruce. that sucks
Ответитьso many propellers , you will think with 2 down they should have been able to land
ОтветитьGood video. Do the blades on that helicopter rotate for forward flight ? Old Skydiver.
Ответить“Adhesive bond”😊
ОтветитьYikes!
Blade failure takes out other props in a chain reaction…..
So now Aircraft Spruce is the only one left for parts...I liked having a choice, sucks we now don't anymore. Not really unexpected though, the entire kitplane field is narrowing down to the barest minimum these days. I hope it survives.
