Hello Everyone,

This is an unwanted discussion. Let me ask you, how did Mr. Jonah receive knighthood from the British? Dr. Frimpong, please, to hold your dignity, refrain from talking about everybody without due diligence. Please, we don't want to lose respect for you. It appears you are being paid to do this. If not, for what other reason are you embarking on this journey. All those big names, titles, and degrees have not helped anyone in this country.

The lawyer’s account is not fully accurate.
I worked at AGC in the late seventies and early eighties.
General I . K Acheampong demanded a fair share of 45% of the company which was then owned by Lonhro. The General manager of the company, a man called general Spears was angered by the demand and threatened to “flood” the mines. Acheampong called his bluff and got his wish for Ghana. The next general manager by 1979 was called Manager Box (hope I spelled the name right) I was in the company when Rawlings used to visit the company very often. He also demanded a higher percentage of shares in the company, and therefore had the right to appoint the general manager.
Rawlings appointed Sam Jonah by popular support and demand of the miners.

This Lawyer Frimpong never tell any truth. Sam Jonah is not from Assin Kushea. His mother Beatrice Jonah is not a native from Assin Kushea. His brother is regent chief but not because he hailed from any royal home. Soon the whole ghana will destool his brother and your lies will be exposed.

My admiration for Lawyer Frimpong Anokye Knows no bounds. For he brings the history of Ghana to life. However, I feel he should look at things from the African perspective. This is because whiles people like Sir Sam Jonah's achievements are by no means mean, they do not tell the whole story. The question is: how does an African in this day and age, become a Knight of the British Empire? I believe it is because his contributions to the British Empire are immense. We therefore have to ask: Is the British Empire and Modern Ghana on the same path of progress? If not, then we must understand that, whiles one is winning, the other is losing. Moreover, we must understand that schools like Adisadel College were instituted by our colonial masters (Society For the Propagation of the Gospel) to train indigenes to do their biding.

This man is part of the downfall of Ghana! He was the boss for Ashanti Goldfields for so manyy years but was not even able to develop a small town like Obuasi. He managed to manipulate the resources of Ashanti Goldfields to his own benefits!! All the certificates he achieved what benefits did we get from him for the country!! Maser just stop the talking and give us our peace! This Sam Jonah contributed nothing to Ghana, he is now based in South Africa for a long time!! I think he just want to join politics now!! Maser just tell us what he viably contributed to the country!!!
He is just corrupt!

EFUOM PRAISE-SINGER. ALL THE GOLD AND DIAMOND MINING COMMUNITIES IN GHANA ARE GHOST TOWNSHIPS, WHY? BECAUSE ALL THE ROYALTIES PAID OUT FOR DEVELOPING THOSE COMMUNITIES HAVE BEEN LOOTED BY CHIEFS, POLITICIANS AND ELDERS OF GHANA. NO SOCIAL AMENITIES. TO THIS DAY, GHANA'S LEADERS STILL GO CHASING THE IMF FOR LOANS AND HANDOUTS, AND THIS BUSH MAN IS BLABBING ABOUT SAM JONAH. HOW DID SAM JONAH BECOME "SIR"? OH, BLACK MAN! INDEED, IN THE LAND OF THE BLIND, THE ONE-EYED MAN IS KING. SAM JONAH MADE AN IMPACT ONLY ON HIS PERSONAL FINANCIAL STATUS AND NOT ON THE VAST MAJORITY OF GHANAIANS AND GHANA. THAT'S WHY GHANA IS STILL A BANKRUPT HOPELESSLY INDEBTED AND TAXED THIRD-WORLD NATION THAT PROGRESSIVE NATIONS DO NOT RESPECT. OUR SO-CALLED LEADERS AND ELDERS HAVE DESTROYED OUR POTENTIALLY RICH NATION. THAT'S WHY MANY GHANAIANS HAVE FLED THE COUNTRY TO ESCAPE "DUMSOR" AND THE HOPELESSNESS.
