This is probably a really silly question, but how do you make the paint be so wet? Is it some form of medium, like paint thinner? I'm a complete beginner :P

Set playback speed to .25 for a more real like experience.

The velatura is key with Bouguererau. I find the transparency of lead white really helps.

is it possible for anyone to learn this or do you need a requisite amount of 'talent' ??

Amazing video. But it would be helpful if you made a tutorial on it. Maybe a voiceover about mixing the colors and some tips to copy a master painting. Thanks. I have a hard time to find the correct values and to mix them. Especially on human skin.
