A sterile brightly lit environment with way too big rooms and an empty vibe is in theory a good idea for a horror game. I mean, with the proper gameplay for it of course.
Imagine if it was more of a re2 mr x situation. None of these sleek stylized robots. Just a literal adult serial killer.
And shit, if you can see them, let them see you. Imagine if vanny saw you the moment she was visible, but instead of playing some scary chase ambience with static, no music played at all. She just kept prancing your way like a nextbot.

She is hands down the most terrifying character in this game every time she shows up to chase you

The only scary thing about that game. Everything else is like fluffy funny kid friendly stuff.

It’s so uncanny, like something that genuinely shouldn’t exist. The movements are so weirdly fluid and unnatural that this could have worked incredibly well if uh… the rest of the game was more canny

Very scary videogame

I kinda lost some fear in her and gained some in the same way. Long story short, I just put the CD meant to raise the platform when she showed up, I hid in the nearest Photo Booth and her AI circled around it until I loaded a save. At that point I had to say screw it and outright try to avoid her without hiding.

Now speed up her run by x2 then it’s nightmare fuel 😂

Maybe it’s just me, but with her arms up like an excited little kid running towards his birthday cake, it’s hard to find her intimidating.
