he then made me an aimbot, and i said thanks.

Did every but was defeated by that pesky little speedflip,how disappointing

I'm in Gold II and the speed flip is like the first thing I wanted to learn. So I just sat down, watched a couple videos, and grinded it until i got it lol I can now speed flip mostly consistently and it makes me feel way better at the game than I actually am XD

The speedflip isnt a mechanic that requires hitting or touching the ball in any way, which is why low ranked players often get good at it before the other difficult mechanics

i’ve done so many classy flip shots but i never new it was a real named trick, like yeah every time i get that type of shot i would be really happy cause it looks cool and also i don’t see anyone else in my games (lobby’s) do it but i never thought it was an actual shot, now i feel more

I thought Linkuru invented the speed flip (his most popular video is about a shot in a training pack you need to speed flip for)

I am so glad to hear that even people really good at the game struggled to learn the speed flip. Started day 3 of learning to do it consistently and I've done it maybe 5 times total out of hours of trying lmaooo

I'm a new player, the only thing that is easy for me is speed flips and reverse speed flips. I'm just learning to use boost in the air, feels like I have no control of the car. I'm either to far from the ball or two close can never find that sweet spot.

Super cool to see the classy flip. I just started getting into rocket league. Made it to about Plat 1 season 7. I was messing around in 1s and started a dribble, jump and 180 spin then back flip to flick it into one of the corners. Had never seen anyone else doing them, but that almost looks like it just with added boost lol

I feel like low-ranks can speedflip because they just diag-flip (including me, but just diagonal flipping works for me, as im a silver)

This is the closest thing to a "real" sport in gaming, it's all down to individual talent and practice. Not just pressing a button to do a move for you, like in other sport type games. Reminds me of skating, all these mechanics/tricks coming out named after the players.

I was able to master flip reset in 5 minutes after watching a really good tutorial and practicing for 5 mins
