Dogs dont have hands.. they PLAY with their mouths mr dog expert. 🤦♂️
Please do not listen to this person.
Can someone please tell me what dog breed that is?
Ответитьa simple backhand does the job
ОтветитьUse a glove with sharp tips and bite back with your hand
ОтветитьJust got two new 7 week old Jack Russell thank you😊
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI wish it was this easy to stop puppy biting instantly. I have a Swiss shepherd who used to be more like a crocodile when we got her.
She's a rough player and just got more excited whenever we corrected her thinking it was part of the game. I had to pinch her real hard for her to even notice and even then, it didn't really get the message across.
Redirecting used to work fine for the moment, but it was basically just a positive reinforcement for her to bite me more when she wanted to play.
The only thing that really helped was to actually teach her the command "No" (because puppies speak a completely different language than we do when we get them and have no idea at all wtf we want from them) and to then simply leave the room when she was biting and refused to stop.
She's 6 months now and my arms have finally been scratch free for a few weeks.
Some dirty arms you have there. At least clean them before you record a video about very common knowledge training exercises
ОтветитьIf you could talk less and get to the point, that would be great
ОтветитьLMAO, I did the method when my puppy start biting, he looked at me like "WTF are you doing" LMAO!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThis certainly did not work for me
Ответитьeye contact .. harsh NO!!and a marking on their side 3 sec stare .. look away .. few times and its over, that has worked on all my dogs
ОтветитьPoopie biting 😂😅😂😅
ОтветитьWe did the "ow" and pretend to be hurt with our at the time 2 month old dachshund male.
Got the message across, he's the sweetest boy and if he thinks you're hurt he'll come running to give you licks.
He still likes to mouth during play but he never bites down and he knows gentle as well when giving treats.
He'll be 2 next month.
It really bugs me when people mistreat a pup for biting and doing what pups do. This behaviour is natural because the dogs are teething, the reason they love it so much is because of our soft and hard texture. I have a female neighbour who as gone quiet all of a sudden, she got a french bulldog and was constantly screaming at it for doing what a pup does. She had no patience to raise the dog but that didn't suprise me because she was constantly screaming at her son prior to getting the pup. I'm guessing she no longer has it, I can only imagine how much fear it endured and how many smacks it got, I bet that poor little puppy so depressed and scarred.
ОтветитьLove the gentle correction technique ... whacks on the snoot or rear are uncalled for and ineffective. Nicely done.
ОтветитьThanks brother, we appreciated this video
ОтветитьI just pull all of their teeth out it works
ОтветитьWhat a helpful video nise one thanks 🤝🏼👌🏽
ОтветитьI’ve done this and my puppy barks back and bites harder … is there anything else I could do?
ОтветитьMy dog tried it but I immediately flipped his gums and when he bits himself he realizes it does nothing to me and stops. Occasionally he bites when I start playing with him but then I correct him and he stops
ОтветитьBiting on humans is acceptable, it's the humans that are unacceptable. I need to train the humans to stay away from me like the plague.
ОтветитьI have heard of holding paws… or biting ear until a little yelp and letting go then they learn it’s a bad no if there biting faces etc. aswell…. Idk if it’s correct but online and dog trainer said it aswell once
ОтветитьYou are saving my life 😭 my 3 month old has given me decorative teeth marks since I got her despite me trying the “close the mouth” or “press on their tongue” methods. Literally half a second after doing this she stopped biting, which she never does, so thank you!
Ответитьi tried the active correction, but it seems to just make my puppy get even more bitey! not sure why??
ОтветитьMy 7 week old staffy seems to think when I'm correcting her that I'm just playing with her. And she comes back. I'm at ends😢
ОтветитьThank you so much I am finally able to stop my puppy from all biting ❤
ОтветитьJust like small Children!
Loving correction, redirection, reward
Infuurreeeatin’ is ow you say “boiieten”
Or “pooopeyyy”
Maybe offer the pup a spot of tea and a biscuit
ОтветитьIt’s only been a day but so far this is really working with my 9 week old golden retriever puppy. Thank you!
ОтветитьGreta video again King Will. 👍🏼 Puppies have brand new teeth. People don’t realize that they’re really quite sharp, lol. They actually hurt a grown man’s fingers (believe me 😂). And also people don’t think that one day those teeth will be full sized, and if not controlled now, they’ll really hurt someone one day. Happy subscriber and dog-guy. 🇨🇦
ОтветитьMy 10 week puppy was startled at the active correction at first but now isn’t phased by it after a couple of days. Please help!
ОтветитьThankyou so much!! ❤ you have such awesome vibes
ОтветитьRecently got landed with a rottweiler about 9 months old she kinda play attacked me one day when out was jumping and biting at the hand i had the lead on and biting my feet.i kinda pinned her an when she calmed down a bit i slowly started petting her. She also did it for my girlfriend in a park lucky at night so not many people or dogs but she cant really do what i did. Any recommendations on what to do
ОтветитьThanks this such a good training video. My puppy has a bite problem
ОтветитьWhen do I start doin it like right time my Pomeranian is like 8 weeks old and when I try to correct it she still bites and takes everything not to serious or listen
Ответитьi have a dog
ОтветитьOkay but that "psssssht" sound to get their attention only works because they haven't heard it before. After the 20th repetition they ignore it and just keep biting. Then what?
ОтветитьThis is infuriating. It doesn't surprise, distract, or stop my dog. It gets to the point where he doesn't even unclasp his teeth when I do it.
ОтветитьHave had various dogs all my life and always did the OVER ACTING OW I AM HURT and went away for a maybe a minute to sulk for a puppy "bite". It always worked and quickly.
ОтветитьHow to train dog for toilet?
ОтветитьWonderful tutorial, stumbled into it by chance and subscribed immediately. I don't have a dog yet but I will soon be getting a curly coated retriever. I am looking forward to it so much ❤🥰
ОтветитьThanks. I love your boots. What brand are they?
ОтветитьTHIS DIDN’T WORK ON MY WIFE …😂
ОтветитьI thinks it works with lil kids too? 😂
