Some extra tips:

1. Save cooldowns that aid in escape for EMERGENCIES ONLY. Unlucky situations happen and there’s nothing you can do about it. What you CAN do is ALWAYS be ready to escape.
If you get attacked by a high-level elite or large level mob but “sprint” is on cooldown, that’s on you bud.

2. Don’t give strangers second chances.
Sometimes a group member will make a bad decision that almost gets you killed. They are either a noob or trying to kill you. Either way, it will happen again if you don’t ditch them.

3. Try bringing your modem closer to your PC or connect directly with an ethernet cable. Random dips in connection happen and, unfortunately, you won’t automatically be logged out. Your toon will sit there getting killed.

4. He already said this in the video but, seriously, don’t rush. Take your time.

Good video. As a tip/constructive criticism, a LOT of people like to hear videos while doing something else. It would be a good idea to avoid putting important info on the screen only. If your video requires watching by nature, then it's fine. If you don't want to read everything, warn us that there is info on the screen that you will not go in detail about.

This adds meaning to the game that hasn’t been there in a long time. It reinforces the lesson that If there is no chance of losing then you can’t win either

you forgot Druid Travel Form they dont even need mounts they become a Mount

The pali guides put me off..every single one dismisses concecration because of the mana drain and that just doesnt sit well with me considering you can just restore your bloody mana..why give up something so critical instead of adapting.

delog has a nice feture where it maps out deaths on maps.

Attack critters like cows, rabbits .... to pick up cheap weapon skill points when you need them.

We chatted about this over 10 years ago and lots of people were against it but I am glad it got traction and I hope to play it soon.

Can we trasnfer to a PVP server after we die on HC?

Another big piece of advice, Get a wired connection to the internet. You can get a device that connects to the walls and sends the signal through the wires rather than Wifi.
Also getting a new modem is good if yours is 10+ years old.

I did this and went from occasional Disconnects to perfect internet connection.

I died at level 20 today in Loch modan to 3 roaming level 20 elites.
Everything else was smooth sailing up to that point, so my advice to anyone stumbling on this video is: Zoom out, look around and watch powerful enemies pathing.
If you blindly run through a zone you'll get blind-sided like I did.
Take things slow, look for where mobs are, where they're headed to and path away from them if you're just trying to get from point A to B.
Moving the opposite direction from your objective around mobs taking an additional 10s is better than taking a 2 hours to get back to that point if you die.

Some suggestions for classes for complete newbies;
Hunters - until level 10 it can be hard, but once you get your pet it becomes way easier, you essentially have 2 party members. Just be careful of their pathing since they can aggro.
Warlocks - Same as hunters, but with wands mana cost will be low and your void walker has a built in taunt ability - abuse it.
Paladins - Unlike the other two, a pala doesnt have any pets to take aggro, but what they do have is "oh fuck" buttons in the form of two invulnerability bubbles, heals and damage buffs.
Druid - Some of the fastest levelling out there because of their beast forms, just be careful you dont overpull or pull mobs too high level.
Shaman - Really strong early, but falls off later, their damage is insane early game. Just be careful your totems dont draw aggro as they only disappear when replaced.
Rogue - Slow start, but a lot of CC to help you survive once you get them.
Priests - A lot of survivability as long as you can manage your mana consumption.
Mage - A lot of CC: Polymorph, cone of cold and frost nova. Wands to reduce mana cost and blink allow them to jump away when needed.

One tip I haven't seen addressed is. Level your defense skill. Let some weak mobs beat on you for a bit so you don't get crushing blowed by something at your level or even under

Tip 3: if tip 1 and 2 dont work, try re-evaluating your life and ask yourself why you are playing wow still

Still you can get a dc from your internet service provider having a connectivity issue and all the time that you have put into this hardcore mode is for nothing. Its like losing your life and your health at the same time without even realising it. You cant even keep your hero, its like going to hell and expecting to escape with your soul. Sadly people are stupid and thats what blizzard is depending on! Wonder what will be next that will lure the masses, probably hardcore tbc or wotlk? Hmmm ? Or maybe hardcore real life pokemon catching! Like the fake one wasnt dangerous enough ... You people make me sick!

This is awesome advice Thank you!<3 In HC I actually picked a class I did not regularly play to survive longer. I am way more careful playing, take my time, review my spells & rotations more often checking my dps. Time will tell to see how I survive lol. Level 1 Bank alt - a must! Never thought I'd be having such a blast on HC. It's brutal but darn entertaining. <3

your only real enemy is server disconnect. everything else is a joke compared to it.
if you don't trust it, don't start.
