What do you think of this new style of lightweight EMTB that's designed to ride like a standard MTB? Let us know👇
ОтветитьHow the help sidekicks th at tyre slash?!?!
Ответитьits nice to see that even the best bike handlers can still get it wrong..!
ОтветитьIt's a shame the the sections show from 8-10 minutes have been pretty badly chewed up by motocross bikes 😔 such an amazing part of the world though. Good video too
ОтветитьNeil is real
ОтветитьNope lost me at E bike..... Bye
Ответить35 pounds !! That cheep ! How much do they weigh? I bet at that price their pretty heavy 🤔
But seriously! Can we just have kilos please?
The essence of mountain biking on my beloved Orbea Rise :-) One in my stable now.
ОтветитьLive on Dyfi forest and mechanic. Nearly everyone who rides around there is on an E-bike. 'Boy do you need one'!
ОтветитьBrilliant content 👌
ОтветитьThanks for the review 😊
ОтветитьGr8 editing and storyline
ОтветитьWhat garmin computer are you guys using? Thanks
ОтветитьIt only feels like a gentle tailwind?
ОтветитьDon't understand where negative takes on Wales comes from, its a gorgeous country. Especially the further West and North you go.
ОтветитьFantastic.
ОтветитьTwo mates for a day out being paid of course and enjoying themselves, what is there to dislike. Nice one guys.
ОтветитьDid you get that? Sweet!
ОтветитьYou guys never once dissed on those Recons. Impressive.
ОтветитьI own an Orbea Gain (e-road bike) and I absolutely love it. The Rise is such a compelling option. I was thinking of going with an OCCAM but I absolutely love what an e-bike can offer. My main question with this one especially how does it ride with the electric motor fully off? Do you get any drive train drag, or like your having to fight it?
ОтветитьNeil - How does your poor Mum feel when she watches you?
ОтветитьDid you find find that the cockpit geometry is too far forward for comfortable pedaling which may have contributed to you going over the handle bars? I'm 5'9/ 175.3cm. i have long femurs apparently since every bike I own ends up with the seat all the way back in order to keep from having my knee too far in front of the pedals. My medium Specialized Camber had to have a setback seat post to make it fit. I rode the Levo SL in size large at the shop and it fit perfectly for reach and top tube with the 45mm stem. The seat was all the way back and I could have used 2mm more to the rear but could live with it. The Rise in large has 19mm more forward reach from the crank to the steerer and 9mm shorter top tube. Which means the rear most position of the seat will be 28mm more forward that the SL. This may be a deal breaker for the Rise for me.
ОтветитьI would not recommend doing “the Big Dipper” in the winter as you might drown 👍
ОтветитьBesides covering more ground in less time good to see you do not get that worked on a epic ride. For a first attempt it seems Orbea has found the perfect balance between putting in the effort and pedal assist.
ОтветитьI live in wales. You should try go up snowdon
ОтветитьHi love your videos! How would you say the bike climbs with the Fox 36 vs the 34? I'm about to confirm the details for my purchase and am torn between the fox 34 with lower weight, simpler settings and lockout vs the 36 and extra downhill performance that I most certainly don't need. I'm comming from loving the Orbea Oiz (2200km in 9 months) and having to move on to electric assistance due to a knee injury.
ОтветитьTerrible review you never even reviewed the bike !!! So what was point of the video ??? Wasted 15 mins of my time very disappointing
ОтветитьHello boys, how about the mileage of this trip? how the battery holds up ?
ОтветитьGreat video - more e-content please!
ОтветитьDoesnt look like an ebike, because we all wanna go fast without anybody knowing we have some e-back up. Still, if more people can ride trails and have fun with a little bit of back up its good.
ОтветитьHow does Rise pedal when dead? Is it similar to Occum. Occum good climbing trail bike is Rise similar? Thanks for great vids!
ОтветитьHello Neil and Rich. Can you give me a advise about the size of the bike? I see Neil is riding a size M and Rich a size L. I’m actually not sure which size I should take. I’m 1,76 tall and have a step length of 81cm. Orbea says M or L both are good. I’m riding actually a Canyon Strive CFR 9.0 in Size M. Hope you can give me an advice.
ОтветитьWait..are embn and gmbn becoming one? Serious question.
ОтветитьNice filming guys 📷
ОтветитьYou had me till you said E bike but your vids are still some of my faves.
ОтветитьDreambike
ОтветитьReally great video to showcase this bike. It showed its strengths and weakness in use. Advantages- Lightweight, responsive riding. Looks and feels like a regular bike. Disadvantages - Ran out of battery on long ride, lighter tires prone to punctures.
ОтветитьNice ride lads always likes watching this
Ответить"Boy this really feels like the middle of nowhere"
Proceeds to go OTB
Haha seriously though, this was an epic ride. That scenery must have been amazing. Really feels like what mountain biking Should be all about
When are the GMBN jerseys getting back on stock??? (Or more M sizes;) Want to buy one so bad!! Thnxx
ОтветитьCadair Idris is the whole mountain. The peaks you are referring to are Penygadair and Mynydd Moel - not Cadair & Idris. Cool video though :)
ОтветитьYes my Panda mtb sticker made the edit on the climachx trail board
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you!
ОтветитьEmbn next
ОтветитьI like the e bikes but I hope they don't take over and make a normal non electric mountain bike a thing of the past
ОтветитьSuper cool bikes! And super epic ride! Hope that Neil did not feel too sore the next day...
ОтветитьWorld class destination, try to get there twice a month ( pre lockdown😪
ОтветитьHi guys yous need to check out grizzly munro diaries he does epic all mountain biking in Scotland serious stuff on a standard bike, love this ebike, looks class seems to be great fun 😀 👍
ОтветитьE-Bikes are getting more and more popular. It sure looked like a fun ride, glad you did not get
hurt when you had the tumble. All in a days work or should I say play. Have a great week and
stay safe.
