This is a speed runners dream but a completionist's nightmare.

Technically when the reach cut scene starts when he reachs of her hand lt should be 'time' because you have zero control over it. In fact id argue that any cuts you can't skip should pause your over all time.

Regarding the tutorial shrine order, intending to "explore", I got to the ascend (ice) shrine before even unlocking them. Spent 30min killing two constructs with tree branches and then realized I couldnt even enter the shrine. Was totally worth it.

Players who can do all that are expert players/gamers. They are literally pros and I really admire them. I would never ever be able to do that lol. I'll just continue playing totk in the nooby way that I know best. 😂😂

Why do they hold the shield guard button on the gliders, i see all the speed runners do it, but i see no benifit?

And now someone has done it under 50min with a slightly different route (skipping the extra sky island visit to get the fairies and steering rod and going directly to the depths).

When the game first came out I was testing ways to recreate whistle sprinting and I came across this then I saw some videos of people already doing it

Just the fact you can put an add in a video where you react to someones elses work blows my mind.

I don’t know if this is a new glitch or not, but I picked up an item (i think it was a roasted nut or a berry) on the ground while spinning with a big sword. The hit box stayed out while the new item notification popped up and it shredded the white bokoblin’s health bar and shattered my weapon. I’m on the most current patch as of right now. I don’t know if it’s practical at all, but it was pretty cool completely and utterly executing a monster in 1 second.

How people acually do it is cuz they just skip everything they can.

maybe it's just me. but it always annoys me when I go to look at a speedrun and they're like "we play on an old version for glitches" and it's just like oh, well then I don't care. because sure glitches can be fun and neat, but like. 90% of games it seems like the endgame for speedrunning is "glitch the game as hard as possible" instead of, playing the game optimally. s'why elden ring has the worst speedrun I've ever seen, it's literally just glitch out the map until you drop the final boss into a deathplane. which is super lame.

Nintendo patches duplication glitches and other glitches because Nintendo wants everyone to have an authentic experience. As soon as I found out about the inventory duplication glitch with b and y, I put my switch into airplane mode and disabled auto update in case they would release 1.1.2 that patched the glitch. I was correct. I had to go online at one point, and now (even in airplane mode) when I open totk it asks me to update every time. When I accidentally clicked yes(I was in airplane mode) it gave an error code. This will hold until nintendo releases DLC, and then they make 1.1.3 (a future version that will probably patch the tobio's hollow dupe glitch) a requirement to get the dlc. I figure I might not get the dlc unless I can find a way to get the dlc and stay on 1.1.1. Edit: It would be really funny if Nintendo left the duplication glitches on purpose and in the dlc, if the game sees you duplicating, it would deny access for an hour and the NPC you would have to talk to for the dlc would say "We don't allow cheaters! Come back in an hour without cheating and then you can resume!"

Speedruns who just run with glichting through walls etc are just gamebreaking but arent impressive..
