I have just watched this movie today and I am completely blown away. I don't know why it took me so long to discover this movie. I wish more people watch this masterpiece. This is truly one of the most underrated movies ever.

I saw it by myself in a Los Ángeles theather while my mom was working at a mexican dinner. And I remembered forever the phrase: “ We accept the love we think we deserve.”

I watched it 3 years ago in 2020 on mpix canada having no idea what it was ....and IT WAS top 3 Coming of age movie ever. Like the subject is in your face.
