How old is Runner now and how much does he weight?

I remember my friend's Gus the Black Lab licked my face at his B Day party and what is what made me love Black Labs now. I also remember another Black Lab -Therapy pup came to visit me during my cancer treatment. It brought me joy.

How old was he when you started teaching him commands? My puppy is 5 weeks old now, and just seems way too wiggly to pay attention, plus he is food motivated allright! However I reckon after 2-3 sessions (1 each day) he could do it...thanks, have a good one!

He did fine in the pool but many puppies would have reacted to the suddenness of the water and having to swim with anxiety. Viewers need to be warned and be prepared to gradually allow a puppy to get used to a pool by having them wade, walk in water up to their belly and then brief paddling with the handler with a hand under their belly and each time you go they do a little more until they demonstrate they want to swim. You do not want a negative experience as this will set swimming back, sometimes by a lot. The animal will have the rest of their life to enjoy the water so one can be patient and supportive. As I said, some are ready on the first day but some might take 2 weeks. It is best for them to dictate the pace INMO.

Are y'all doing the raw diet? Labs love it! We add cooked broccoli, raw carrots, raw humburger meat, garlic seasoning, and other supplements. If you do the raw diet, Runner will eat the cooked broccoli & end up loving raw broccoli! (We alternate between broccoli and brussel sprouts). And always add a krill oil supplement to the bowl @ meal time. Just sharing what we've learned before we officially bred some litters with the AKA
However, our girl has had her last litter since she was a little older when we took her in 💗

What type of Lab is Runner? He's GORGEOUS and if you add the supplement of Krill Oil to his diet his coat will be STUNNINGLY shiny and super healthy! My black English Lab has allergies BAD and the Krill Oil keeps her coat conditioned and runway ready lol 😂❤

I wish I had videos like this of my black lab when he was younger, he's 13 now, which considering his massive size is incredible, and probably from a life spent running freely in a rainforest property, but I wish we had videos of him when he was younger, now he has hip issues and I know it might not be long before medication stops being effective, I will miss him dearly and the time we spent running through the thick forest flora together like we where on some fantastical quest to save the world. Dog truly is man's best friend.

Once mine found the pool it was on. She gets in every chance she gets. Like she throws the ball in and obviously has to jump in. Black labs are amazing, mine is super loyal and smart.
