Sucks that, as Quinta has said, black women have to bleed out her soul, always have to bare her soul, be down and out for her story to be on the screen. She stated how sometimes she just want to do a scripted show/ movie where she can just be silly, maybe even a Sci-fi... Hearing the plot of this current movie made me think of that.. Not surprised this movie is following that formula hearing who's directing it. Nevertheless, it's beautiful that Sherri and fellow black actors and directors can create and share their talent. I'm def gonna support seeing Sinbad is in it. Wow! Excited and so grateful Tyler enlisted such a legend! Hoping Sinbad has the best time while filming and that black ppl get the chance to tell lighter stories and really show the amazing creativity within.
