I like your adventures . tell your boys cherish these times with their dad , My dad was my outdoor partner and taught me the love of the outdoors. He took care of me when i was young and i took care of him when he got where he couldn't see so well. We got to spend 2 week during covid together both deer hunting and elk hunting. I was the only one with a tag cause my hunting partner job messed his time off. But it was meant to be quality time with my dad miss those dearly

There is nothing like father and son adventures, it looks like good Bear country and possibly morel mushroom coming up in the burn too, but definitely not antelope county 😂 unusual.

I would get a couple of collapsible light weight silicon buckets to fetch water for the horses instead of leading them down to the water.

The catch and cook fly fishing trip would be a great video. I try to make a yearly fly fishing trip to Montana. I live in Texas but absolutely love the mountains and fishing in Montana.

I'm wondering if it would be possible in your circumstance to soak your cubes/pellets in creek water to at least help hydrate your horses if they refuse to drink. At least the grass has a little moisture in it, but not enough.

Looks like the bob marshal,this is why i camp on a motorcycle..it dont run away on its own.ive seen prong horn in the Beartooth mountains along the eatern front ..it happens but rare.
