This incarnation of Megatron is kind of tragic. He wanted to tear down the caste system on Cybertron to promote equality on his homeworld only to fall out with a best friend and in turn fall into revolution that left Cybertron dying and most of his race dead.

Falling Inside The Black By Skillet was The Perfect Choice for Megatron because it describes Megatron’s Tragic Dark Path that he has taken.
