What an interesting person. This was a pleasure to watch! You did a great job. I’m inspired 🙂
ОтветитьJust wanted to say that I'm loving your content so much! I really enjoyed your videos on Mary Blair and was super excited to see this one pop up in my feed. I haven't had the time to really paint in forever but these videos have me ready to break out the gouache and just have fun experimenting again. Thank you!
Ответитьlove these videos! Is there a possibility if you posting a non-sped up version? I'm new to painting and would love to learn more from studies of the master's!
ОтветитьAmazing! I loved learning about Eyvind Earle, and in the process you as I watched you paint!
ОтветитьGreat job of replicating this gorgeous scene! Thank you for the shout out. Can’t wait to see more of what you do!
ОтветитьWow just discovered your channel! Love your gouache work! Eyvind and Mary are two of my favs, do your channel is perfect for me.
ОтветитьBeautiful love the art in the film 💜 especially the purple and greenish blue color
ОтветитьThis is so good! :). What kind of paper do you recommend for this?
ОтветитьThat was awesome! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI also like that style. It's simple with the design and with the color palette but still gets the point across. I also enjoy the accompanying featurette that comes with "Sleeping Beauty" called "Four Artists Paint A Tree" that goes into the design work of "Sleeping Beauty" of four artists working as a cooperative group, but also contrasts with how those artists (including Mr. Earle) paint a tree based on their own individual thoughts, perceptions and experiences of and with that tree. (And now that I think about it, it probably should have been called "Four Artists Paint A Tree While A Camera Man Is Filming Them" because the camera man was also creating a moving work of art while they were painting.) 🙂
ОтветитьAmazing work😊
ОтветитьYour videos are brilliant.
ОтветитьGood art
ОтветитьThankyou that's fantastic
ОтветитьI really appreciate you told us about his vs talking through your process.
ОтветитьThis was so gorgeous and fun to watch come together!! Thank you for this!
ОтветитьLoved the history. I’m trying very very hard to not binge watch every video you’ve made so I have videos to look forward to!!
ОтветитьI love these videos!!! I’ve been wanting to study Mary Blair and Eyvind Earle’s art for a while but every time I sit down and pull out one of their works it’s so easy to get overwhelmed… like, where do you even start?
But watching someone break down their works like this is so helpful, and the commentary is great!!! Thank you for this.
