Excuse me, why do we need spelling in IELTS reading

For headings create your own headings first and then look and match with the given headings

Just reading helps a lot, my reading score was 3 or 4 2 years ago, and I didn't practice at all and my reading came out to be 7 to 8 after 2 years. All I did was reading webnovels, fanfictions non stop for 8 hours per day.
But now I'm stuck between 32-35 correct answers.

Pls sir I have written IELTS 2 times but I have always had issues with my reading score, how do I go about it

Hi, Chris I need your help, I’m able to do 7 in reading but above it. When I’m cross-checking my wrong answers, I know what I did wrong and which was the right answer. Is it because I’m nervous or maybe my reading skill is low? How to improve? Please advise, as I’m taking an exam next week😅

Thank you verry much! I did a practice reading test today and did not achieve the band I need. I didn´t thought that I would have problems with this part, because I read a lot English books... But obviously only perfect practice makes perfect... So I really need to get used to the strategies!!! I will a second or maybe even third practice test, so that I am able analyse my mistakes

It is insane to sit 3 hours taking exam! It should be splitted in more intelligent way! I guess that leaving writing at the end of the exam certainly impacts the results and it is one of reasons of negative statistics...

After watching this video, I know that I'm too lazy because I always do tests and check my answers but I hardly ever analyze my mistakes or check the explanatory frames

Super Thsnks 4 Great Ideas!!! Still, it's quite confusing hearing about this total mix up of Reading and Spelling!! 123% Not the same thing! If a person spell a word 1-2 letters wrong, it is Not a Reading mistake! Sorry, but who ever decided that thus is same thing is minimum 50% WR"OO"NG!!!

My IELTS reading skills were terrible but after reading daily passages I feel more confident. Also, gained more academic words because I wrote down them on a Quizlet card. Believe me, if your knowledge is weak then all these strategies will not help you.

Most of my previous teachers have always forced me to try to manage my time in reading while they didn’t really cared about what’s my weaknesses for working on that.
