I absolutely hate retail man... the power scaling is insane. I played Dragonflight for a bit before I stopped, my Warrior is at ~400 ilvl (can't exactly remember, maybe low 420s)... I was doing end game content quite a bit... and now I can just do solo content and get up to 476? That's way too much man. It's the entire reason why Blizzard is constantly having to scale numbers/levels down.

Title of the video is about gearing to ilvl 476 by yourself but then lists off every possible way to get there in a group.

I am actually having a lot of fun this season playing wow the wrong way, going it alone and just doing heroics and LFR, putting on some videos in the background. There is a clear path with weeks of upgrades to get to 460-470 chilling out and playing solo. It might not be the best version of wow gameplay but im really enjoying it right now.

Im just hoping this "solo content to get endgame geae" is why they are making delves in War Within

I like the new system, allows for easy gearing of alts and returning players (like myself) but they still need to work in making it more visible and understandable to the player. The fact that everything is named "crest" and the icons are very similar between the different levels doesn't help. Alas, a minor gripe, but still a huge improvement to the game all in all. This is the best time to play WoW since legion. You have to many different ways to progress playing the content you want, play with your friends regardless of server and faction barriers. Incredibly easy to level alts.

I remember...In Burning Crusade stares off into the distance as a flashback ensues The easiest way to get epic gear (without group/raid content) was to farm over 100 battleground victories. Victories. You had to win the BG in order to get the token. Then you'd spend 10-30 tokens on a single piece of gear that was equivalent to about Tier 4 at the time. You could only get the major pieces. Arms, legs, chest, boots, helm and weapons. And the pieces were PVP gear; meaning they sacrificed one major stat for the Resilience stat. People referred to this as "welfare epics." because of how "easy" they were to get. I wonder what those old snobs would say about the loot system now lol.

I'm getting 434 gear when I put the enchanted whelpling's dreaming crest in the work order...

While all this is true, the time it takes to farm flightstones on 5+ Alts is insane, so easy? i guess, fast? nah.

Am I missing something? I don't get any crests from flying through the green coalescence.

i find it interesting the difference between a 'group' player and a 'solo' player, for a group player 476 is a joke aka, i would never catalyst a champion gear or use crest for upgrades, for a 'solo' player that cba with toxicity and competition 476 is more than enough, i really hope blizzard keep this system in the future, its just great for all parties

I got 5 Itemlevel 441 Cloaks on my Paladin in a row from the Emerald Dream weekly quests. XD I literally cant believe that shit is real.

Honestly gearing path is so obnoxious and unclear for a new player, none of this shit is explained by the game, at this poinnt PoE gearing makes more sense to me, WoW items and craft are all over the places, i prefer just spam mythic + dungeons than to make sense of all the garbage mechanics they stuffed into this expansion

Bruh, as someone who just came back after stopping DF last November, this video is still overwhelming. What I heard was, crest, crest, then this crest, to get that crest, then get this crest over here, craft that one then this one, then crest over here to craft over there. Im like wtf?!?!??? LOL. All Ive done so far is finish the Emerald Dream campaign, then I completed my first heroic dungeon. And this video just gave me 50 more things to do. Im overwhelmed and didnt understand what half the stuff meant.

The dream area there is a quest to hand in a splinter for exchange a spark.

Super bloom is group content . World bosses are group content

All of them are really easy to obtain but whats make it hard is, there are so many ways to watch. At least for a while. Once you leave the superbloom, rift and dreamsurge zone its a fresh air.

Is it possible for you to a list of things to do as returning WoW players?

Orb thing during Dream Surge is not a bug, it’s just that they spawn on top of each other so you basically can pick up 10 orbs that look like 1.

I'll tell you exactly what is missing, when you get to convert a piece from the catalyst to tier piece and then you go do an M+ and you get the exact slot item in the end of it which is the same ilvl BUT in the next upgrade tier, so if you want to convert that item to a tier gear through the catalyst you have to wait another week AND if you aren't lucky enough to get enough tier pieces so you can use their bonuses, again you are stuck 1 week behind.
This literally happened to me today.

This shouldn't happened in this very specific case only(when the ilvl is the same i mean), you should be able to upgrade the new item to tier set with no charge, only in this case.
I guess Blizzard hasn't thought of this one.

Kinda bs video...like every drop I have gotten from the world contents events has been nothing but capes...and u still gotta do group content to fill ur vault....and i have no idea how veteran gear equals up to ilvl 476 someones math is off...kelani putting out videos just for the sake of it at this point...sorry to say but u still have to do mythic + which has honestly ruined the game
