as someone born and raised near NYC i will say thrifting in manhattan itself like you said is so expensive or just not it. if you come back and have more time to explore i'd say go to brooklyn our other outer-boroughs. the best thrifting in my opinion is there or in long island or jersey if you want the really good stuff!

I'm so glad you got that dress. It looks great on you, and has your name written all over it 😊. You could wear a chunky sweater over it in the winter, and get more wear out of it.

I thrifted in nyc a couple years ago and it was soooo expensive. Very cool stuff but I’d rather stick to my tiny suburban thrift stores where I live 😅
