Sirhindi's descendants held so much political power in Afghanistan, especially in 20th century. They were called king makers, they overthrow King Amanullah in 1929, who was like the Kamal Ataturk of Afghanistan.
The family was the first to call for jihad agaist the soviet invasion of Afg in 1979.
The first president after American's arrival in Afg post nine-eleven, Hamid Karzai, was in Mujjadidi's party.

Every Sufi order except Naqshbandi have Hazrat Ali right after the Prophet in their silsila. Whether Sunni or Shia, they all honor Ali and his Khalifs, founders of all Sufi orders. What esoteric knowledge did Abu Bakr - who became the first Caliph BASED ON A VOTE - ever demonstrate? 1400 years of Sufis have acknowledged that Ali held something special for mankind - access to the heart-states of the Prophet!

Here in Philippines especially in Mindanao they follow the sharia but the tawheed is totally different i can say 90% it came from the suffi. Allah hu ahlam..

Sufism is just from ihsan. It is one of the 3 categories of islam. islam, iman and ihsan

Al-Bayhaqi reported in 'Al- Manaqib: 2/207 with his own chain of narration on the authority of Yusuf ibn 'Abd al 'Alaa who said: I heard al-Imam al-Shafi'i saying:

If a man were to embrace Sufism in the morning, you would find that he has turned into a fool before Dhuhr came in.

I am naqshabandiy and we don't have different beliefs from any Muslims. There are 6 articles of faith that all Muslims must follow and it is very clear in surah al baqrah. However, our way... is different which means we follow kwajah bahudin naqshabandi preferred way to Allah.... it doesn't take us off the path of the sunna or shariah but rather makes things clear

The names mentioned in serial nos. 5 & 6 in the chain or ‘silsila’ are absolutely false, because Imam Ja’far as-sadiq ‘aalaayhissalaam (83-148 A.H.) died 38 years before the birth of Hazrat Bayezid Bistami ‘aalaayhissalaam (186-282 A.H.). They never met physically. Waassalaam.
