Thank Q (Magazine)

It’s the end of an era. Q Magazine is closing its doors so here’s my tribute to this iconic magazine.

I remember dropping off my portfolio on a Monday back in January 2008 and getting a call back two days later... “We usually start new photographers off with a little gig in Camden but we’re sending you to LA”. It’s been quite a ride and I got the chance to meet and work with some of the best people in the music industry. And the jobs weren’t too bad either.

Massive Attack in Sydney. Robert Plant in Austin. Depeche Mode in Paris. Katy Perry in Berlin. Paolo Nutini in New York. The Kooks in LA. Biffy Clyro in, er, Nijmegen. Not forgetting eleven amazing Q Awards.
