Regarding the fair play iteration, it seems as though the best thing to do in this scenario would be to just stand around and do absolutely nothing during games. You'd ship loads of goals and lose a lot, but you'd also get next to no yellow or red cards, and therefore end up doing extremely well. Barrow seemed to have done exactly that apparently.
