What about fidelity index funds?
ОтветитьCool! What about EWC?
ОтветитьHi Bassem, i really enjoyed this video. what dashboard do you typically use?
ОтветитьHow do you like VDY compared to XDIV
Ответитьgreat videos. would like to see video about metaverse etfs or stocks in canada and which ones we can use in our tfsa account. Thanks
ОтветитьLoved your video. i personnaly choosed 2/3 of my portfolio in XQQ, what do you suggest to avoid overlap for the 1/3 left?
Thanks, great content !
Hi Bassem,
First of all you are doing really good by sharing valuable information, kindly I have a question on this video. How do you hedge all these ETF's, when it goes downwards??
I know pro-shares are the one we should be holding but that basically only helps when the markets crash, otherwise reverse splits killing that too. Hope to hear from you soon.
You should explain CAD hedged ETF phantom distributions in non registered accounts.
ОтветитьGreat video! Really enjoy your platform! One question...is there a difference between a VSP and a VFV fund? They both look the same to me. Thanks.
ОтветитьThis probably sounds like a stupid question but I’m new to investing and am reading, watching videos to educate myself. Would buying both VCN and ZCN be considered too similar in their portfolio’s? I’m trying to diversify but I’m also looking at growth, MER costs,, and dividends. I feel so overwhelmed, any suggestions would be helpful.
ОтветитьPerhaps mentioning the expense ratio of each of the ETFs would be helpful.
ОтветитьHi Bassem - I’ve told a few people already about your channel. Your suggestions are awesome. It’s overwhelming just picking a few. I feel like that I need pick the perfect allocation % and ETFs and commit to it. How do I pick the right ones for me and stick to buying it regularly? I like them all lol. I want the best return, I know I’m not going to touch my investments for until I retire around 60.
I’m bullish with emerging market. But I also like dividends ETFs. Need help to sort this confusion.
Great video, thanks.Which ETF pays high dividend currently.
ОтветитьA quick question regarding VSP, you mentioned how VFV fluctuates depends on US dollar, doesn't VSP work the same but in CAD dollar? So if CAD dollar drops wouldn't the VSP stock goes down as well?
ОтветитьHi Bassem - Your content really gets me thinking 🤔. Quick question, when is the best time to purchase ETFs? Wait when
there is a dip and buy lump sum or DCA
regardless the price but also buy more when more when there is a dip?
Thank you 😊
Hi Bassem, after watching your video on $10,000 invested in ETF I’ve decided to instead go for 60% veqt, 30% vee 5% eark and 5% btcc. My question is would I continue putting money into the last two ETFs- eark and btcc after I invested $10000?
ОтветитьHi Bassem - we appreciate your content. In my opinion it’s one of the best! I know you’re so thank you for taking a quick moment to give me your insight on the following portfolio I chose :
$10,000
45 % veqt = $4500
20% vee = $2000
35% vfv = $3500
Thank you 🙏
Hi Bassem - I’m stuck and need help. I’ve watched all of your great videos on ETFS for beginners. I’m interested in the allocation and the ETFs you recommended in this video but I’m also interested in vee. Is it okay to make up my own allocation so I can fit in other ETFs? I’m going to slowly invest $10,000 and can focus on one etf at a time to buy the allocated amount. Any tips? Also, if I invest more in veqt would it be it necessary to buy vfv since all of US is in veqt?
Thank you
Appreciate the efforts to explain about various ETFs, but you are making it complicated for no reason. VEQT holds over 12,000 stocks all over the world, and itself includes 4 Vanguard ETFs for US total market, Canada, Developed and Emerging markets. Your combination is literally overlapping many equities 2-3 times! Honestly, this is misleading for anyone new, and who do not know how ETFs are structured. If market index funds (all stocks) is your investing strategy, then just choose VEQT or XEQT and keep it simple. The funniest part is you said allocate 5% to VEQT and you are asking to buy VIU separately, which is already a part of VEQT! Also, all ETFs you mentioned overlap 100% with VEQT.
ОтветитьHi bro another question 🙋🏾♂️- what are your thoughts on VCN instead of XIU - thank you. Great conten.
ОтветитьThis was quite interesting to watch! I’ve been able to understand the cryptocurrency market and I’m currently buying into the dips. If it hadn’t been with the help of my broker Ms.Sylvia Geary whom I got in touch with the help of a friend. I reached out to her on her telegram handle<< investwithsylvia>> and I must say it’s been very smooth working with her so far.
ОтветитьNew Subs here. Go CANADA! 👍👌🇨🇦
Keep it coming Canadian ETF vids.
Thank you!
Great video, once again!
Could you please do one on how to invest, 20k, 50k or 100k, if you are 5-10 years from retirement and have lots of TFSA and RRSP room?
It would be really helpful if you gave concrete examples of stocks or ETFs that you be beneficial for this situation. Thanks so much!
Billionaire lifestyle video 30 billion views. ETFs with high payouts 30k views lmao. The world is astonishing.
ОтветитьNice! I personally went with 100% XEQT as it offers a higher allocation to the US than VEQT. The quarterly dividend payout vs yearly is nice as well
ОтветитьBMO/Horizons are Canadian. Vanguard/iShares is Foreign Crap. Period.

You just earned a subscriber! Thanks for making such an easy video to understand! I currently have VFV in my Tfsa account in questrade. Should I sell this for VSP and would I benefit from owning both?
ОтветитьCan I invest in these ETFs from outside Canada as well? I'm waiting for my PR currently or do I need to have a PR or a SIN for that matter as a means to begin investing anywhere in TSE?
ОтветитьI'm just 100% XEQT lol
ОтветитьHi, I want to invest but I don't have any idea of how or where to do it.. how should I start? thank you.
ОтветитьWith the onset of inflation and rising interest rates, would ETFs be good investments for say one year? Or do you recommend them strictly for very long term horizons?
ОтветитьIf you don't have any room left in your TFSA and RRSP, is there anything wrong with holding these in your non-reg investment account?
ОтветитьVery good analysis. Can you talk about the new NYSE crypto ETFs or more stable crypto currency for long hold ?
ОтветитьThis is what i look for in investing videos. Very personal suggestion when it comes to ideas on where to put my hard earned money to invest for long term. Kudos! You just earned 1 sub! Keep it up! :)
ОтветитьHey
Thank you for explaining. But i did not understand why not to hold XIU and VIU in tfsa?
bassam if you do not have any room in RRSP, TFSA accounts (tax-sheltered accounts) can and should I buy your reco's in the video? thx
ОтветитьI have around 200k to invest for a short term, what can you recommend ?
ОтветитьWould love some information on green investment ETFs, renewable energies, etc.
Ответитьyey your from Toronto..thanks for the video...just started my portfolio:)i still have a lot to learn:).
ОтветитьDo you have any recommendations for small cap value ets in CAD for canadians?
ОтветитьXSP, XDIV and ZUT here. Good video.
ОтветитьWhen contributing to these accounts ( such as vsp)!do you recommend buying a few shares a month? Or a couple every two weeks? Is there any other way to contribute a certain amount of money weekly rather than buying full stocks ( as a beginner just learning all of this now :) )!
ОтветитьHey, Im a student and looking into investing into etf for long term growth. I have opened a wealthtrade account and have a small amount deposited (100$). is it worth investing 100$ a on a monthly basis or should I gather all my saving and then invest once or twice in a year?
ОтветитьI opened a wealth simple account and want to invest in ETFs. Do I just buy x amount of stocks from each index fund and forget about and let it grow or do you recommend that I contribute an amount of money each month to the EFTs. Please advice I’m not sure what to do. Thanks
ОтветитьHi Bassem. I have a question about the DRIP programs. I have all my Canadian dividends stocks through Wealthsimple. I’m wonder how to get started having all dividends reinvested?
Thanks so much for your videos. :)
Rule 1: There are no solutions; only trade offs. Since you like dividends; you might like SPHD. Again, remember rule 1.
ОтветитьI am 20 years old. How is the best way for me to get started? I plan on putting $100 into a savings free account and investing in ETF’s what’s the best way too?
ОтветитьHi. Regarding The ETFs like VEQT that are invested in both CAD and US markets, what will happen to the dividend? Do we get paid the dividend in CAD or US? Will there be an exchange fee for the US dividend? thanks
Ответить
