I think you’ve reached the greatest form of kindness, when you’re able to be kind without even acknowledging you’re own kindness. I’ve walked and mingled with all sorts of people and let’s just say. I sat and talked to people from the richest to homeless and every time I’ve interacted with a “homeless” person, they’ve offered to split their $5 to buy ME a beer, just because their appreciative of being shown regular, human acknowledgement. The kindness and selfless people always tend to, idk for some reason be the most nonchalant and humble people. It’s like someone stole their wings from heaven and they fell to earth and just looked around and was like “alright, haha :) cool.”

I am such a toxic person and I have been hurting people around me. I want to be kind. Today I searched a video about how to treat people with respect but the only videos I could find was how to make people respect you, not the other way around. Closest I found was this video and I'm so thankful. I hope I can become better.
